Left To Rot - Ruin (Secruity Breach)

Synopsis: Cassie wakes up Super deep under the pizza, Plex, awoken, and saved by Roxy to everyone with emotion. She breaks down, wanting to go home, and at the sickening feeling of his betrayal, leaving her to rot.

Had she died? Been smashed by the elevator and left to rot away in this hellhole for all eternity. Her thought of death was shattered by the sudden intense aching of her mortal shell. Her head was pounding, probably suffering a concussion from the fall she endured.

Cassie felt the coldness of the hard surface numb her bare skin. She forced her eyes to open, her ears ringing throughout her skull. Loose electrical wires surged in sparks above her as she slowly moved her eyes around, observing more of her new surroundings still in the structure of the once unsmashed elevator to no avail; everything was blurry.

She didn't know how she was still alive and honestly, she didn't even think she should be after all she had suffered in this place of ruin. The human girl groaned as the headache only grew worse from her now conscious state. This was worse than all the other falls.

Just then she overheard footsteps from the distance, mechanical sounding. Oh no, no not now. Cassie attempted to stumble up as the sound of walking grew closer, only for a stabbing pain to shoot her body as she applied weight to her lower body.
She jolted back down at the agonizing feeling in her now broken femur.

Curling in on herself as the footsteps were dangerously close now. No one could help her, she was left for dead, left for scraps by the one she had called her friend. It was all over for her; she'll never see the Sun or her family again. Left to rot.

"Cassie?" A distorted voice rang out, as she whimpered in fear.

She heard gears grind against one another as the machine lowered. Cold fingers brushed over her shoulder, as the creature slowly pressed a damaged hand on her.  Her eyes gazed upon the robot at the realization of who it was.

"R-Roxy...." She wheezed out. The wolf's ears perked at the sound of the girl's voice.

Yes, it's me." She whispered. Cassie remembered how the wolf had stepped in between her and the Mimic in an attempt to save her.

" Y-you protected me? But how....I deactivated you...." The animatronic bare faceplate titled at her question.

"My processors reactivated my systems when you were in danger. Even when us animatronics are deactivated or shut down if a child is in a dangerous situation, emergency systems reactivate us."

Cassie's face contorted into guilt." Roxy, I am so sorry for doing that to you...I thought it was the only way to save my friend...." Cassie's face scrunched at the mention of her once friend.

Roxy felt the girl tense and she felt a sense of sympathy. "I forgive you, Cassie...I understand that you were trying to help your friend."

The human girl gritted her teeth." He is no friend of mine. Not anymore." Tears pricked her eyes as she sniffled."He left here to die."

A wave of emotions came over her as she broke down with fear and anger." I nearly died.  I'm stuck down here and my leg is hurting so bad I want it to stop." Roxy paused at the sound of the girls sniffling.

" Hey, it's okay." She whispered trying to calm down the child.

"It's not Roxy! I'm gonna die down here! I'm gonna die because of that scary thing!" She cried harder, unable to stop.

Metallic hands suddenly grasped her shoulder and she paused. "You're not going to die, I won't let that thing get you, I promise you, you'll be okay." Cassie reached with a free hand that wasn't clutching her leg to grab at Roxanne's broken hand.

Just then a sound echoed from somewhere in the depths of the underground. Roxanne and Cassie froze,  the human heart raced.

We need to get away from here now." Roxy said moving towards the child.

"Roxy, I can't walk my leg. I think my leg is broken badly."

The animatronic focused on the sound getting closer.

The mechanical footsteps inched closer as Cassie fearfully grasped at Roxy's hand harder." Roxy, please don't leave me! Please I don't wanna die!" She cried out of anxiety taking over her.

"It's going to be okay rockstar, I won't leave you." Roxanne shifted, analyzing Cassie's leg."  I'm going to have to carry you, though if your leg is hurt then this will likely hurt you more from the motion."

"Whatever it will take to get away from the danger then I'll take it."

Roxy's ears twitched at the sound of the footsteps; she knew it wasn't one of her friends in sight, the sensor of the other artificial intelligence was something unknown which meant danger.

Cassie bit at her lip hard as she was lifted from the ground the sudden gravity of the motion made her damaged leg ache badly. She whimpered as Roxanne slowly moved her body to a cradle-like position.

Cassie moved her head into the robot's damaged chest plate sniffling tears at the pain. As the animatronic tried to hold up her snapped femur with her hand while also moving swiftly away from the unknown entity.

"It's going to be okay Cassie I promise. We'll get something to hold your leg in place." Roxy reassured though she was unsure what would be helpful given all the supplies were probably damaged in the fire. And besides the fact The Pizza Plex only had ice packs anyways and there was no way she could call the ambulance.

The girl gripped harder onto the robot's arm as the bobbing of her strides made Cassie's leg ache even more. As she unknowingly pressed more into Roxanne's damaged chest plate for comfort with tears of pain.

" it's going to be okay, I won't let you down, I'll protect you." She said as they disappeared somewhere within the darkness of the underground unsure of what to do now but knowing they had to stay determined.

You won't be alone down here
