Anna Pov

As I was about to leave, a voice suddenly startled me. Turning back, I saw my elder brother standing with a smile on his face. Someone was supposed to inform me about my brother's arrival. I hugged him tightly while he stroked my hair.

Taehyung-How are you, my baby girl?

Anna- I am good Oppa. Weren't you supposed to arrive after a week?

Taehyung- I was done with my work. Besides that, I was missing you.

Anna- You missed me?

Taehyung- Yeah I have a habit of living with a crackhead

He said flicking my forehead

Anna- Oppaaa

She said with a cute angry pout

Taehyung- Okay okay ! I won't tease you. Come let's go for breakfast.

He held her hand and took her to the dining area.

After he spoke, I realized I was late for college for the fifth consecutive time. The professor will kill me.

Anna-Oppa no not today. I am so damn late, the professor will give me detention.

Taehyung- Choose your words wisely miss and I think your professor will excuse you for one day.

Anna-Its not the first time its the fifth

She mumbled but loud enough for him to hear. His expressions changed and he glared at her furiously.

Taehyung-Excuse me!

After pausing for a moment, he spoke.

Taehyung- Leave I will talk to you later, a very nice one.

It won't be a nice one for me though

Rushing down the college corridor, she knocked on the professor's door, hoping for admittance. He allowed her in and gave her a tardy slip, which needed her father's signature. She desperately longed to disappear. She had a lot to face. Her father would inquire why she had been late four days in a row despite leaving on time. And then there was her brother.

Anna- Yeah I liked this one. Now shut the hell up Kai, I am tired of listening to these lines my best friend will be impressed cause she already has a huge crush on you.

She said glaring at him

Kai-okay bestie but don't worry I am sure you will get through all the scoldings.

Anna-Yeah I hope too.

He assured her by patting her back as she put her head down for the rest of lunch, and was on her best behavior for the rest of the day. Reaching home the first thing she did was sneak to the kitchen.

Anna-Mumma

She said hugging her mother who playfully hit her with the spatula and said-

Mrs. Kim- Why did you skip your breakfast huh? Did you eat something during the break?

Anna-Mom, I'm sorry I was late. Your son scolded me, and now I'm afraid your husband will too.

Mrs. Kim-Why?

Anna retrieved the note from her bag and presented it to her mother, who responded with a look of disappointment.

Mrs. Kim- Why were you late these days?

Anna-Mom, I lost track of time with my friends and got late. I swear it was unintentional. Can you please help me avoid getting in trouble with Oppa and Dad?

She said while fidgeting with her fingers.

Mrs. Kim- Okay I will, eat your lunch first because I'm certain you haven't eaten yet.

She said serving her food

Anna-But what about Dad and Oppa

Mrs. Kim- I will talk---

She was cut by Mr. Kim who said--

Mr. Kim-Anna eat something and be in my study.

Mrs. Kim- Hun she is sorry for what she did you should forgive her.

Glaring at her daughter he said,

Mr. Kim-I am familiar with her tactics. Anna, I hope I have conveyed my message effectively.

Anna ate her meal silently as he left, preparing excuses on her way to his study.
