Water ( C! Jeongeun )

Y/n's pov-

"This isn't high enough. Whatever, I'll just jump." I stepped a foot back and jumped down a super high cliff.

It felt like a roller coaster going down. The air swooshed in my face making my hair fly around.

Once my foot touched the river, my whole body fell in, and I knocked out.

Jeongeun's pov-

"Nonono! Where did you go?" I sprinted the fastest I could, up where the cliff was. Why have you been so quiet recently?! You didn't talk at all during this hang out with the others!

You didn't even talk to Jihyun! "Have you found Y/n?" Jihyun came running behind me. "No!" I could feel my tears running down. Once we reached the top, I could only see your faint smile when you jumped.

"Y/N!" I screamed. I ran down and jumped to reach Y/n. Please, please, please! Y/n's body reached the cold water before I could reach them.

The river flew fast, it was too quick but I was able to swim well enough to get to Y/n. "Please be safe, please be safe!" I kept praying in my head for you to be ok.

I was only a bit away from you. My arms and legs swam as fast as it could. When I reached you, I was close enough to grab your hands and get out of the water.

"Move everyone! Move!" I had your arm around my shoulders as I walked and laid you on the floor.

"You found them!" Jiwoo unnie and the rest came running through. My hands had sudden blood all over it. Hold on... you were bleeding.

Your head might of hit a sharp rock while being in the water. I started doing cpr on you, pumping your chest with my hands.

"C'mon! Wake up!" I whispered, tears were stained onto my cheeks as more came falling through.

No water came out of your mouth. No! I can't give up! "Please! Please!!" I started screaming and crying as I pumped as much as I could.

Yunah unnie placed her hand my shoulders, signaling me to stop. "Y/n is still alive! I just gotta keep trying!" My voice was shaking, my hands were desperate, the others kept telling me to stop.

"Jeongeun unnie stop... it's been almost 10 minutes." Wonhee came and rubbed my back. "We have to take Y/n to the hospital! NOW!" I yelled.

I tried picking you up but the other tried stopping me. They picked me up and removed me away from you.

"Stop trying! The nearest hospital is like 2 hours away! Y/n is now.... no longer with us.." Yunah unnie locked her arms around my waist to get me away from you.

Your blood was all over me, you died in my hands and jumped in front of me. Why didn't you tell me you were going through something!??

Your lifeless body laid on the rocky ground as the ambulance came running through. Someone probably called one.

Everything felt like it was in slow motion. They picked up your body and took you somewhere I couldn't find you.

"Unnie.. your jacket. It's cold out." Youngseo handed me my jacket to cover myself with. My bloody hands laid inside my pocket.

Our crew walked all the way back into the cars. "We'll drive to the hospital." One of our staffs said.

All of us were split up and went inside of our vans. The staff give me things to wash up your blood off of me.

When I was done, I sat back in the car. While I was seat belting, a folded up paper fell out of one of my pockets.

"Huh?" I picked it up and opened it.

"Hi Jeongeunie!! Yes I was writing this when you were playing in the water with the other girls. You're probably reading this after my death right? Good! I just want to apologize that I didn't tell you that I was going through depression. I really felt like dying today, well I feel like that everyday haha.

But another thing I wanted you to know was that my heart will never forget you completely. I'll never forget the times you made me laugh until I had tears in my eyes. I'll never forget the feeling of safety you gave me whenever you held me tightly in your arms, kissing my head, and creasing my hair. I'll never forget the way you looked at me as if I was the only person in the whole world. I'll never forget the sound of your heartbeat whenever I laid my head on your chest.

You'll always have a part of my heart even if it's just a small fragment of it. We'll meet in another universe someday soon. I love you forever my love. <3

Thanks a lot Yoon Y/n, now even more tears had a whole waterfall coming down my eyes. "What?! What happened?! Why are you crying?! Are you ok?!!!!" Yunah unnie took off her seatbelt just to come and comfort me.

"I love you too Y/n..." I whispered quietly as my blurry eyes looked at the letter.

I should honestly do more of the letters thingy 😈
