If you manage to close all the entrances to your home before the hourglass expires, congratulations, you've won the game, and you will receive your rewards.
However, if you fail to complete the task before the hourglass expires, your candle will go out, and the 'Players' will come to collect your soul, adding you to their ranks, and you will become one of them.
