She hastily packed. She didn't know when Ⴇ̴̢̥͖͈͙͆͆̐̂̂ɘ̵̡̝̠͕̓̆̓͆͘ï̷̧̢̦͍̲̐̂͘͘m̷̙̬̭̯̰̒͗́̂͒ǭ̶̙̜̗̹͗̐̄̐ƨ̷̳̘͚̹̞͛͐͛̕͝ would arrive, but she didn't want to be there when he arrived. In her absence, something had happened to ̶h̶e̶r̶ ̶l̶o̶v̶e̶r̶ him and it was, quite frankly, eerie. Before she left, he was always joyful, passionate about many things. This man, she slammed her suitcase shut, this man was nothing but a shell of his former self. He seemed possessive, insane, and it was all directed at her.
She left a faux note on the table of her apartment, addressed to a roommate that never has, and never will, exist. The thin sheet of creamy white paper stated that she was on an educational trip funded by her university somewhere, and she would only come back in 2 weeks. It was not very convincing, but it would have to do. She walked over to the open door, and shut it behind her.
And Asteria ran.
