Bang! 

Debris fell through the car windows as the car broke down the door and entered the house. The headlights lighted the dark inside of the house, and Jungkook's brow furrowed as he looked out the car window. It was the same with Taehyung.

The man stood alone in the dark. And the way he was standing there didn't suggest he was here to kill. The intruder approached as the car window was lowered.

"You crazy! Do you want to kill someone?"

Hearing the familiar voice, Jungkook spat a low curse and got out of the car. Only after all of the lights in the house were turned on was the intruder properly identified. Yoo-jung. Seeing her for the first time in a while, she was glaring at Jungkook, who had gotten out of the driver's seat, with a stunned expression.

"What are you doing here?"

"I heard you took a vacation, so I came to see you. Dr. Park didn't tell me, so I figured you'd be here."

"So why."

"You seriously asking why? It's your birthday tomorrow."

Come to think of it, there's a birthday cake and a shopping bag on the table that she seems to have brought. Jungkook clicked his tongue with a disapproving face.

"If you come, at least turn on the lights. Why are you hiding like a rat?"

"Damn you. Is your sister a rat now? I was hiding to give you a surprise, but who would have thought you'd hit me with a car? Thanks to you, your birthday almost became my Memorial Day."

While she was grinding her teeth, she noticed Taehyung standing behind him and looked surprised. Taehyung panicked, unsure of what to do in the unexpected situation. Her gaze shifted back and forth between Jungkook and Taehyung.

Jungkook turned around and waved at Taehyung. He hesitantly moved over, and her eyes widened.

"Yi An...?"

"He...hello."

"How are you here..."

Jungkook introduced each other with a nonchalant face.

"You've known her since you met her last year. This is my older sister Yoo-jung."

His gaze shifted from Yoo-jung to Taehyung. Unlike when he sees his older sister, his eyes warm up and the corners of his mouth go up.

"And this is Kim Taehyung."

Yoo-jung tilted her head. Not Zhang Yi-an, but Kim Taehyung? Before she even had time to wonder, Jungkook added it right away with a proud face.
