Accidental Romance

Chapter 3

Ah its finally the weekend. All the things to do in two whole days without school. Oh, the possibilities! You know if it was up to me I would give more time for a weekend, you know for the children. Sometimes I swear I can make myself laugh.

I was laying across my bed day dreamily thinking, when my phone went off blaring my favorite band. Well I know that ringtone anywhere, had to be Xoe. I jumped up from my bed and ran to the other side of the room to answer it in time.

"Hello?"

"AAAAHHHHH!!"

"Dude that was my ear! Who died?"

"New guy! Here! Taco bell! Come! Now!"

"Ooohh I'm leaving now."

I looked in the mirror really quick, ew I look gross. I changed clothes, brushed my hair, and put on a little lip gloss. I ran to find my keys and get into my car. I did obey the speed limit, I'm not a bad kid, sometimes.

I pulled into taco bell parking lot next to Xoe's car. And causally walked into the building. I found Xoe in line waiting to order, more or less waiting on me.

I did a little look around and saw him sitting by himself my a window. He looked so casual, but mysterious. Can he be any cuter? Xoe nudged my side and I realized I had been looking at him a little while too long. I quickly adverted my eyes and looked to what I wanted to order. We ordered and sat at a table where we could look in his direction without being creepers. I don't know what I expected to happen when I got here. Him to notice me? To sweep me off my feet? To confess his undieing love for me? A girl can dream, right?

We made small talk here and there between bites of food. When we were almost done with our food, Connor got up and walked out. I looked at Xoe and saw where she was staring and snakes her arm. "Xoe! You can't stare at his butt!" I whisper yelled at her.

She turned towards me and leaned in a said, "Hey, a fine ass like that, needs to be looked at."

I just shook my head and laughed at her. I couldn't hide my smile, because I do agree he had a nice butt. Leave it to Xoe to notice it.

We finished our food and walked out. All in all it was fun just to eat and talk to her. Even if nothing eventful happened with Connor.

I was almost to my car when a felt a tap on my shoulder. I turned around and almost gasped but I held it back.

"You're the girl that showed me my class after we ran into each other? Jazz, right?" Connor spoke.

I couldn't form words so I just nodded.

"I was wondering if maybe... you could show me around sometime?"

I knew I was blushing but I nodded, again.

"Here can I see your phone, I'll put my number in it."

I reached into my pocket and pulled out my phone, unlocking it and handed it to him. He put his number in and handed me my phone back.

He said something else but I was so ecstatic that I couldn't hear anything but my own internal screaming. He waved and walked off. I got into my car and finally let out the breath I didn't realize I was holding in.
