My son, my cat. I know he's still alive. I know that he loves me and I love him. His sweet little silent mew. His sweet face. His sweet affectionate self. I know he'll come back to me.

Maybe this year.

I know he'll come back
And I'll promise him
That I won't let him wander out that far again.
I hate those stupid people that think black cats are "bad luck"
They can take that thought and put it in a hole and let it die.
They won't take him again.
Bagheera will be safe.
