Claro found Amee and Ada in the scroll room, trading notes and reading tattered and musty scrolls. " Live a little, guys! Let's go play Swivenhodge!" Claro exclaimed, earning many icy looks. Amee explained that the duo was trying to find a scroll about Arcturus the Amazing. Just then, Madam Hedpiece dropped off some parchment about Arcturus, and the trio leaned in to read it.

 Arcturus was once a student at Luna Academy, hailed as the most promising and talented mage of his generation. But his ambitions soon turned to obsession, and he became obsessed with the idea of destroying the academy and all its inhabitants.
Arcturus spent years studying dark magic and gathering a following of like-minded students. Finally, he launched his attack on the night of the spring equinox, when the magical energy in the air was at its strongest.The battle was long and fierce, with many casualties on both sides. In the end, the students of Luna Academy emerged victorious, thanks in part to the bravery and quick thinking of a young mage named Adalyn.Arcturus was captured and sentenced to life imprisonment, but some say that his spirit still haunts the halls of Luna Academy to this day, seeking revenge on those who defeated him.

 " Isn't Adalyn Headmistress Lynch?" Claro said. Before the trio could find out, the blood-curdling scream of Arcturus ran throughout the entire school. Everyone ran out to the courtyard to find Headmistress Lynch being pinned to the ground by a hooded follower of Arcturus. Everybody rushed in and fought bravely. Amee dueled the hooded figure, only for it to be Elsie!

" You see, Amee?" Elsie said. " Arcturus teaches real magic, not Luna Academy's crummy lessons." Amee was hurt, but she knew one curse that could end this battle: FURICULUM! Suddenly, Arcturus's whole legion sprouted red octopus boils on their bodies, serving as a disctraction for the alumni, who killed all but Elsie.
