It was an evening, Aera was with her grandpa playing in the garden (at the back side of the house) and Jin along with Jungkook was in the kitchen making dinner

They had a gardener, a cleaning staff, and one lady named Sana for kitchen work she is the one who was with Aera when she was having her lunch before

Sana was a 46 years old lady and the most trusted worker in Kim's mansion She had been working there since Taehyung was a toddler

Jin and Jungkook were engaged in work when Sana came to them in the kitchen "Sir Your mobile~ Someone is calling" she said to Jin handing the device who took it and said thank you with a small smile Sana bowed a little and left

Jin checked the caller ID and the smile he had a while ago faded away

He glanced at Jungkook who was busy with his work he nervously mumbled "I will be back Kook" and went away quickly

Jungkook heard the elder and also noticed the difference in tone he was about to say something but saw the elder walking away He frowned moving his eyes from the walking figure of the elder to the dish he was making which was ready by now he stirred it one last time

Turning off the stove he walked towards Jin How could he leave his Eomma alone if something was worrying him he needed to make sure everything was fine or not

He walked towards Elder but unintentionally heard him talking on call "I will talk with him Mom don't worry I'm just waiting for the right time I know I have to do it as soon as possible"

Saying "Yes Mom take your medicines on time and Take care of yourself" Jin cut the call and turned around but witnessing Jungkook there standing made his eyes widen

"Sorry Eomma I didn't mean to hear you like this but When you left you were worried so I just came to ask if everything is okay I'm really sorry," Jungkook said quickly thinking Jin will misunderstand him if he didn't inform

"It's ok Baby I know don't worry," Jin said with a small smile which disappeared in a second

Jungkook saw this and came closer. He held the elder's hand with his one "Eomma you said I'm like your son right?" he said more like asked

Jin nodded at him and said "You are my son Kook" patting Jungkook's head with his other hand

Jungkook smiled a little at his words "Then Tell me what's worrying you" he asked with concern

Jin who was looking straight till now moved his eyes and shook his head while replying "Nothing Kook" tried his best to convince Jungkook by changing expressions to normal

"Now you will lie to your son?" Jungkook asked with seriousness visible on his face

"Kook~ I-it's not like that baby... It-its just" he said but stopped "Ok I think I should tell you," he said and called Sana who came almost immediately

"Sana complete the remaining work in the kitchen" he ordered to Sana who nodded then bowed and left

"Come with me Kook" Jin said to Jungkook and took him upstairs towards his room
