A Sharp Truth

Chapter 1

"I am going mad!" I say inside my head, after realizing my crush on Nezuko, it pained me to think I would never get to meet her, I would only be able to fantasize, "why me," I say to myself, it was almost bedtime, so I stopped whining and got myself ready for bed, "goodnight" I said to my family before I went to sleep. I dreamed I had gotten pulled into a portal and disappeared, my dream had changed but I hadn't woken up, sad really. I soon heard screaming, and that's when I felt pain, I felt a warm liquid dripping down my face and it touched my lips, "Blood?" I wondered, I managed to bring myself to open my eyes, and I saw a horrifying creature, I wasn't in my bed, I was in a forest leaning against a tree, "A demon?" I thought, "Where am I?" I wondered. "Wait, Demon!?" I immediately questioned, "Am I in Demon Slayer!?" I asked myself, my head throbbing in pain, "agh," I moaned in pain, "I guess I wasn't the only human attacked," I said in my head, while he was busy with another human I managed to crawl away, the pain in my head was driving me crazy, after a little I blacked out, waiting to see if I survived, "Will she be alright," I heard someone say, his voice kind and gentle, "She will be alright, Tanjiro," a woman had replied, "Tanjiro!?" I thought, "Alright, I am definitely in Demon Slayer. But how the f*ck did I get here?" I wondered, I decided to open my eyes, and I saw Tanjiro and the insect pillar, Shinobo Kocho. they looked at me as I sat myself up, "You're awake!" Tanjiro said in a joyful yet calm manner, I stared at him, I didn't want to speak and it looked like I would have a hard time trying to, I got up off of the bed and walked to the window, I stared out the window looking at the beauty in front of me, "beautiful," was the only thing I had said since I entered this world, Tanjiro stared at me for a moment then watched as Kocho left, he looked back at me, "I would like to keep you company if that's alright," he asked genuinely, I didn't look away from the window, but I nodded as consent that he could stay, he smiled, though I had not seen it, "Are you alright?" he asked me, I didn't answer back nor look away from the window, i could feel his aura, he felt sad for me so I decided to respond, "Fine," I replied, his aura seemed happier, "I don't talk unless absoloutly needed," I said, just so he got the idea," just because I was a chatter box in my world didn't mean I had to be one here," I thought to my self, Tanjiro didn't answer leaving us both in silence, I watched the sun come into view then set below the horizon, I smiled for the first time I was there, Tanjiro watched me smile and smiled aswell, the sky was getting darker by the second, so I left the window and walked back to my bed and stared at Tanjiro, I built up the courage to ask him to see Nezuko, "Can I... meet Nezuko," I asked, he seemed stunned that I had even known about her yet he agreed, he left and came back with Nezuko's box, it was dark out now so it was safe for her to come out of the box, "Nezuko, you can come out," Tanjiro said softly, she exited the box and looked around the room fixating her eyes on me, I smiled to let her know I wasn't a threat, her aura told me she trusted me, to an extent, I reached my hand down towards her it starled her but once my hand touched her head and I started petting her head she calmed down, closed her eyes and smiled, I couldn't help but smile back and giggle, my giggle seemed to bring both Tanjiro and Nezuko to stun, I didn't think anything about my giggle in the real world, guess it was different here, I asumed, Nezuko grew to her full height revealing she was taller then me, "I'm shorter than Nezuko-Chan," I complained inside my head, "well atleast she's cute!" I thought afterward, "Nezuko," I said the words ringing in the air around us for a few minutes, she seemed to enjoy me saying her name, so I said it again, "You're beautiful, Nezuko-Chan," I said, Nezuko seemed stunned and pleased at the same time, "I love you Nezuko," I said very quietly under my breath, apparently she heard me and blushed a lot, I realized she heard me and I turned red like a tomato, "S-sorry," I muttered underneath my breath in hopes Nezuko would only hear, soon Tanjiro said he was going to sleep and told Nezuko to go with him, but she walked over to me and clung onto me, "Nezuko! Please, forgive my sister's actions!" Tanjiro said and bowed, I told him to rise and that I wanted her to stay if she was comfortable with the idea, she seemed happy so Tanjiro agreed and left the room, leaving me and Nezuko... Alone, we didn't do anything other than lay in bed, her being bigger than me, she laid sit? on the bed, then grabbed me and pulled me onto her lap, she started stroking and playing with my hair, which made me slowly drift to sleep.

The Next Morning

"Ahg," I said waking up, my head still hurt from the incident yesterday, Nezuko was sleeping, with me still on her lap, I started to see sun rays so I got up carefully so I didn't wake Nezuko up, I walked over to the window and closed the curtains. "Sleep well Nezuko," I said. She didn't wake so I left to explore the butterfly mansion, I found the exit and watched the sun rise above the horizon, "Beautiful," I said once again.
