The next day:
At home:
6:14 AM:

I'm running downstairs to answer the door while being half ready for school. I open the door to see Nhoro.

Me: What the fuck? Why are you here-

Nhoro: I want to walk to school with you-

Me: Get out-

Nhoro: No.

Me: Just get-

I start pushing him out the door but he stays still. That's when the girl from last night sneaks up behind him and I scream before flinching and backing up. Nhoro also got startled. I think her name was Autumn.

Autumn: Sorry- I forgot my bra...

Nhoro moves out the way and she walks inside, going up to Tobi's room.

Me: What in the actual fuck?

Nhoro: Who forgets their underwear at someone's house?

Me: I know how you could forget- if you had sex with a person that likes to hide your underwear! Gosh I live with creeps!

He raised his eyebrows and looked the other way.

Nhoro: I'll wait for you on the porch.

Me: Why do you even want to walk with me?

Nhoro: Because I have something to tell you.

I frown at him, looking up to stare into his dark eyes; he's a bit taller than Marco but less fit than him.

Me: Fine. I'll be right back.

Outside:
6:43 AM:

I'm walking in the streets of Gold Coast with Nhoro when out of nowhere, he speaks up.

Nhoro: I don't think Marco is a good guy.

Me: What? Are you kidding me? This is why you wanted to walk with me?!

Nhoro: Yes.

Me: Why do you think that?

Nhoro: Because I know you robbed someone last night- you weren't slick with that bag. We could see the money.

Me: What's your point?

Nhoro: He's a bad influence.

Me: Well at least he treats me better than any guy could...

Nhoro: Sure, as if being in and out of the relationship all the time is healthy.

Me: Nhoro, you don't have a say in my relationship, it's between me and Marco, I can solve it with him...

Nhoro: Understood.

We continue walking and I realize that I've been a delinquent because of Marco. He forces me to do things that unsettle me and takes away bits and pieces of my innocence each time I see him. The only problem is that I love him- and I can't abruptly stop seeing him, he'll kill me. What type of mess did I get myself into?

Me: After giving it some thought, I actually think you're right, mate, Marco is a bad influence. But the thing is that I can't really leave him...

Nhoro: Why not?

Me: He'll threaten me.

Nhoro: So? What do you want me to do about it? Figure it out yourself because that little relationship of yours is toxic and irritating to see.

I stare at my shoes as we walk before entering school grounds.

At a cafe:
12:12 PM:

Me and Astrid left school a bit early for break to go to a cafe. While we're ordering I spot Marco with Lewis coming in. I just want to disappear. How should I act towards him and what should I tell him?
