Part 2

Haldi

Abhinav was sitting at the dining table watching Akshara as she was preparing breakfast . After yesterday's Sangeet performance,  their relationship seemed to have changed overnight. Eventhough he overheard the sister's conversation,  seeing the love exposed in Akshara's eyes was a different feeling.

Their eyes held so much untold emotions last night,   their deep desire to be one another's,  their aching hunger to get more closer, their yearning to never let go , from love to lust everything got conveyed .

As if on cue, Abhinav's eyes met with Akshara's. She passed a shy smile , her eyes struggling to maintain the eye contact looked down . Abhinav did notice the red hues in her cheek , indicating that she also had been thinking about last night.

After breakfast,  everyone got ready for haldi ceremony which was being held at the garden . Two lotus shaped seats were created for the dulha dulhan with a orange and yellow  background screen .
Akshara wore a yellow lehenga while Abhinav donned an white pathani kurta with navy blue pyjama.

Akshara's heart did a double take seeing Abhinav as he walked out in his attire. Her Cutu husband looking like a million bucks. White was her favorite color on him and boy did he do justice to it! Her heart thumped louder as he walked towards her. Since last night her heart had been betraying her. Everytime she closed her eyes she could feel his touch, leaving a burning passion inside her. 

Before Abhinav could reach her , both got dragged by others for last minute arrangements and checking.

Function started with all the members applying haldi to the dulha and dulhan and wished them to glow forever together. 

Ruhi and Abhir also applied haldi to their Mamu and Bumi.  Ruhi playfully applied the remaining haldi in her hand on Abhir's face.

" Ruhi Chuhi ab toh tu gayi" he chased her to apply haldi on her but dashed into  Surekha in the middle making her dress covered with haldi.

Thus starting a haldi fight between all of them. 

Abhir thought haldi would be more fun with water and started spraying everyone with water from the hose too.

Akshara looked at Abhinav who was standing at a corner out of sight enjoying the fight but making sure his white kurta remained white.

She went silently near him and applied haldi on both his cheeks .

" Happy haldi husband ji" she winked at him and ran away.

Abhinav taken back by the sudden assault took a second to recover and started chasing her, but she kept on escaping amongst the crowd.

After a while, Akshara noticed that Abhinav was missing from the function and was searching for him when a hand pulled her behind the screen , out of everyone's view.

She looked up to see her husband looking at her victoriously with a smirk.

Her wet. sexy. handsome husband

He took steps towards her as she walked backwards. His pupils darkening with desire seeing her drenched state.

Her back hit the screen and she had nowhere else to go. He blocked her sideways by placing his hand on both sides of her. Akshara looked down not able to take his intense gaze this closer.

" Abhinav.. Aap kya karne wale hai? " Akshara asked huskily still looking down making his heart flutter at the tone.

" Iss gulabi chehre mein haldi lagane wali hoon" he replied tracing her blushing cheek with his knuckles.
