"We mustn't forget those who passed, ever. Their legacy means more to us than anyone could ever know. Today is a mournful day for multiple nations, the assailant was the first to be deceased. The kings of Liyue, Raiden Ei, Rukkhadevata, Egeria, and more unidentified but still beautiful lives lost. This would mean that their children would have to step up in their honor."

Chaos was the only thing that ensued through the whole of Liyue. The main topic was if Xiao or Ganyu should takeover. While in Inazuma, Fontaine, and Sumeru, it was not shock that Furina, Scaramouche, and Nahida are all having their coronations years early. While Scaramouche and Xiao were never close as 'cousins', The Inazuman prince would stay in Liyue for a long while before settling back down in Inazuma.

Along smooth and pale skin a trail of thin and dark blood, Ganyu sat in the circular bathtub filled with flower petals and bubbles. Her knees were resting on the edge as Venti inspected the glass wound on her shin, he didn't do so much as touch it, but the grip his eyes had on it was actually impressive. Ganyu held her chest as she buried her body from her neck to her thighs under water. "I apologize for not informing you sooner. Do I have to go to a doctor or is it something simple to deal with?" It had been a few days since the incident, there still isn't an official announcement but as far as Royals knew, they would have to take the place of King or Queen.

The news spread quickly, the room it happened in is under investigation, no one is allowed inside unless of high status. The major debate was whether Xiao or Ganyu would takeover since they weren't exactly children. Hu Tao was out of the question since she was only twenty and already expressed her desire to be anything but a crowned royal.
'But Xiao is a perfectly fit king that can reflect Liyue's strength and dignity.', 'oh but what about the sweet sweet princess? They say Liyue's beauty and elegance is mirrored in her.' Such divine titles for the sacred children of the royal dynasty. They were most true.

The kingdom's main concern was finding a leader who could represent them.

"I can take the glass out easy, but we should get you out the bath fast."

Ganyu nodded in agreement and slowly pulled her legs back into the warm water of the medium-sized circle she stays in. Venti had bathed Ganyu only twice before just washing her hair. But that was the maidens jobs, not Venti. So the princess relaxed herself as Venti's fingers alone soothed her by simply shampooing her head.
When Ganyu was a little girl she would cry because of how hard her whole body was washed especially in a hurry, but everyday was a hurry and it wasn't until she changed her own sleep schedule did her bathes become sort of more bearable.

"Venti? If you were at the party, would you be dead?" Venti's fingers didn't stop moving like he was completely unfazed by her question. If anything, he thought it would be normal for the Princess to act this way especially because her parents just died a few days ago, she is still grieving.

"I might've, no one can say for sure, why do you say?" Venti looked at Ganyus eyes as he let her head lean back into the water. she had the most interesting eyes for a blind woman, purple with a beautiful golden hue. She didn't stare exactly at him but close since she looked in front of her.

"No reason in particular. I just had thoughts."

Venti waited for Ganyu to come out the bathroom to go on a walk they woke up extra early for. It was a gorgeous morning, a walk for them both would help in some way. He waited patiently till the top of the door opened and revealed a sliver of light then she stepped out wearing a traditional blue evening gown. She was always elegantly dressed, not like she was a princess or anything.
