Harry's P.O.V.

Here I was. Back at hogwarts. Standing in front of the doors that led me back to all my nightmares. The death, the tears, the pain. I mean, there's really no coming back from that. I sighed softly and placed a hand on the large oak doors, pushing the open and looking around. Everything was fixed. Knight armor back in place, walls filled back in. It's like they want everything to go back to normal.

"As if."

I muttered, walking towards the great hall. I had taken the hogwarts express here, unlike almost everyone. Hermione went with Ron and ginny. They finally go together after the war. Neville went with his grandma. Dean and Seamus came with Dean's car. I had no idea how they got it here, but they did. They started dating over the summer. Me and ginny broke up after she told me she was a lesbien. She got with luna.

As I walked, lost in my thoughts, I ran directly into a hard surface, making me fall to the ground and crack my glasses.

"Fuck."

I groaned, grabbing my wand and fixing them. I placed them back on and looked up, expecting to see a wall but seeing...

"Watch where your going pottah."

Draco said, in his annoyingly smug voice.

"Nice to see you too malfoy." I said sarcastically, standing back up. I really had thought we were going to be at least civil, after I saved his ass, but apparently not.

"What are you doing here?"

He asked acuseingly.

"Oh I dunno, just went for a walk and ended up here."

I mutter, rolling my eyes.

'God, where's Ron and Hermione when you need them?' I thought desperately. 'Probably making out in an empty classroom or something.'

"I'm just going to the feast. Can you fuck off and let me through?"

I snapped with a sigh. Draco rolled his eyes and gave me a hard glare. 'Oh, merlin, am I gonna have to fight him on the first day of school?' I thought. My hand found my pocket, ready to pull out my wand, but surprisingly, he just glared for another couple of seconds and walked past me.

"Okay, that was weird."

I muttered, walking towards the great hall again.

Once I finally reached the hall, I looked around for the griffindor table. Suddenly, I felt a hand on my shoulder and turned around to see Professor MgGonagall.

"Good evening, Potter. The 8th year students are all sitting together in a different room, since theirs so few of them."

'So I ran into malfoy on the way here for nothing. Wonderful.' I thought bitterly.

"Oh. Uh, where is it?'

"Follow me, it's just this way."

I nodded and followed her out of the room. I was very glad she had gotten the role as the headmistress. She was the perfect choice. She led me to a room I had never seen before. I assumed it was an old classroom or something, but instead of desks, there was a large table in the center of the room. There was food of all kinds across the table, and there were a few students already seated there, including Ron and Hermione, acting very... Intimately. MgGonagall cleared her throat loudly, making them look up from their passionate face eating, and Hermione blushed.

"Thank you. Now, we have another student who arrived."

She said. Hermione looked at me and jumped up from her chair, running over and throwing herself into my arms.
