Chapter 4

"Let's watch some videos of Hope."

"Are those your friends?" Bucky asked.

"Yeah. We call ourselves the Super Squad. We basically are like the supernatural version of the Avengers. But we mostly fight to protect our school and keep the supernatural world a secret. A lot of people want us dead. And then there's the whole Malivore situation. Crazy enough that Malivore is my boyfriend's father and is a mud pit." Hope said.

"Hold up. Boyfriend?" Bucky asked with a raised eyebrow.

"Would you like to see a video of them together? See if you approve?"

"Yes." Bucky said with finality.

Hope groaned and rolled her eyes playfully.

"How many times did the kid die?" Tony asked.

"Too many. But he's a phenix. So he literally rises from his ashes. He's immortal, like me." Hope said.

"I've asked him why he keeps putting himself at risk. But he always responds that if I'm fighting, he's fighting too. I told him I didn't want him to be the hero, because the hero is never the one left standing. But, I guess he proved me wrong. Because he keeps coming back to me. He'd do anything to protect me and his friends. Heck, I accidentally walked in on him and our friend Wade trying to activate his powers so he could protect me. He was jumping on a trampoline and flapping his arms trying to get his wings of flames to come out. It was by far the most bizarre thing I've ever witnessed him do. But then again, he's done a lot of weird things." Hope said.

"Heck, I killed him once. But in my defense I knew he would come back. I just needed to give myself time to follow through with my plan that I knew he would try to stop me from doing." Hope said.

"And what plan was that?" Bucky asked.

"Throwing myself into Malivore and erasing myself from the collective conscious of everyone in the universe. I was trying to end Malivore because im natures loophole. Nature won't let anything truly be immortal. There is always a loophole to magic, I was the loophole in this instance. There's always a balance." Hope said.

"You erased yourself? Do you realize how reckless that is?" Bucky asked.

"I know. I've already gotten chewed out about it. And yelled at by Uncle Kol. He is by far, the fun uncle. But he is scary when he's disappointed in you or angry. They don't call him the psychotic maniac for nothing. But, I'm definitely closer to him out of my other uncles." Hope said.

"That's because I help you with you magic and actually spend time with you. It also helps that I was a worlock when I was human." Kol said.

"Two crazy guys in the family then. I know crazy when I see it l, because am crazy." Bucky said.

Kol smirked at Bucky.

"I like you. I can see us being very close." Kol said.

"This is terrifying." Rebekah said to Elijah and Nik, they both nodded in agreement.

"The trio of chaos! That's our new name!" Hope said.

"I like it!" Buck and Kol said.

"Oh no. What have I done!"
