CHAPTER 6

NOT ACCORDING TO BOOKS

SERENE'S POV:

As malfoy got nearer he looked into my eyes like he was going to eat me alive. But suddenly his face had a scared look and he started shuttering "uhhhhh...malfoy is something wrong?" I ask him and he goes "de-de- Dementors Dementors!" Everyone turns to see with a scared express while I get scared and hug malfoy as he was soo close to me. But when Everyone turned around to see it there was nothing and Malfoy's friends started laughing and I was there confused and trying to process what is happening. I then realise it was one of Malfoy's silly pranks and I let go of him realizing that I was in his embrace. When I rolled my eyes and turned to leave he took my hand and pulled me back to him my body soo close to his. And he said "well well did you need me because your boyfriend potter is weak against the Dementors?" I just push him and go towards harry hermione and Ron. Malfoy and his friends put on their hoods and pretended to be Dementors while laughing and I just pull Harry's hand and move away from there with the others. "Leave him harry" said hermione while glaring at malfoy.

DRACO'S POV:

when I pointed behind lockwood saying Dementors she got so scared and suddenly she hugged me and I didn't know what to do. One part of me wanted to make fun of her and bully her more but the other part just wanted to apologize. Wait what? Come on draco focus she is just a filthy mudblood and she is an ally of your enemy potter. Get a grip of yourself.

SERENE'S POV

I could feel everyone still talking about it but I ignore them and listen to Hagrid and when we turned around to face Hagrid he had a creature beside him. "Ummm Hagrid what's that" ron asked with a squeaky scared yet confused voice. "It's a hippogriff ron" Hagrid said. And he continued "hippogriffs are creatures with pride and they are elegant. If you don't treat them right they won't take the Shane and attack you. Now who wants to try and pat buckbeak." As Hagrid finished, everyone moved backed except for Harry who was standing still without knowing we all walked back. I took one more step back and I could feel someone's chest. Expensive perfume. Malfoy. Obviously. Before he could say anything I walk 2 steps away from him. When harry realized he was the only one standing in front Hagrid said "good job harry" I just mouthed him a sorry and he just gave me a reassuring smile and winked. And Hagrid gave him instructions to reach buckbeak. Malfoy pushed everyone beside me and took a bite from an apple? He has an apple during class? What? Anyways I couldn't care less and I focused back on apple I mean harry. When he bowed buckbeak shrieked at him so he took a step back but he stepped on a twig which made a sound in that dead silence. I could see hermione hold Ron's hand and it's cute. But I was scared too. I had no one to hold to so out of fear I just kept on shaking my leg. "Did you have sex all night lockwood? Your legs are wobbling like seaweed" malfoy said looking at me from up and down. I just remain silent being scared. Then I could see malfoy sigh and roll his eyes. I couldn't care less because I was too focused on harry. And then buckbeak bowed back to him and Hagrid made him ride it. He looked soo happy and I was just smiling looking at him that I didn't notice there was a rock beside me and I was about to fall when someone caught me before I could and I had my eyes closed but that person said " eyes on the ground darling and be careful. Nobody wants a beauty go waste"
