I heard explosions in the distance, I saw bodies dropping as if they were dominos. If it weren’t for the gunfire going off, I would probably be dead by now but I fight for not only my family but also my country. My name is Asha Commodes and my father( the military chief ) was taken prisoner by the Phantoms. Our job as a military is to help those in need. My father was a hero to millions- no billions of people. Now he is the one that needs saving, even though he told us not to worry about him that day. I still am worried, I feel my power getting stronger every second with every bullet going through my body, every moment that is at stake for my dad’s survival and health. All of a sudden a loud noise lets out toxic gas. I cover my mouth and nose hoping that others will too.
“Cover your mouth and noses quickly!” I scream in a muffled voice. But I knew it was too late for some. Some were already dead due to either gunshots or the gas in the air. “daena nadhhab almuharibin linadhhab almuharibin” I chant in between claps. Eventually, everyone started chanting with me,(except for the Phantoms of course.
