She hates all men but not me?! A PJO male reader x Artemis story

She seems to be protective of me.

A/N: before we start can you please comment your ideas on the story to give me ideas and things to go off of.

[Artemis POV]

The boy that got attacked was called Y/N L/N and was a son of Aphrodite which confused me as her children never seem to fight, so as I walked towards him slowly I sat down next to him and asked him a simple question.

"Why do you try fight,When you are a son of Aphrodite"I ask generally curious

"Because most of my siblings don't fight and it just seems like a waste and I want to protect my family"He responded honestly.

We sat there in silence while each of us started to read our own books, I saw what he was reading and smiled as it was a book about the greek gods and I saw that he was on my page and was reading each word intently with a smile.Yet seeing my hunters approach I knew that this boy was going to be targeted by basically Ares due to the fact he keeps insulting their children, A son of Ares approached me so I threw a glare at him which caused him to go running back to his cabin and I smirked.

The Y/N seemed to still just be reading and oblivious to what just happened, Three people approached slowly with seemingly no ill intent as they sat next to him and watched over him with me as I watched while he read and I had to admit with his long braided H/C flowing in the wind alongside his outfit he looked rather adorable.Wait WHAT AM I THINKING.My brain went into overdrive as I started yelling at myself mentally when I snapped out of it and saw a group of ares campers approaching and I stood up with his friends ready to fight them

[Y/N POV]

I saw the strange girl who introduced herself as Artemis the goddess of the hunt, I was stunned to say the least that a goddess was paying attention to me and the fact that it was the goddess of the hunt; the woman who hates all men is protective of me? I kept sitting there while Artemis the goddess of the hunt started to beat them up which surprised me as this specific woman hates men so you probably could imagine my face when she started beating them up.

The Ares boys squealed so hard you could hear it from the big house was my internal thought because I was treated to the sight of Chiron talking to Artemis to try calm her down so that she does not murder anyone which while I personally hated the ares boys I knew that murder would not solve anything.So after Chiron talked to her our small group of people including some of the hunters just sat there for around three hours just reading books until Lady Artemis needed too excuse herself due to her godly duties but none of the hunters of Artemis seemed to be moving which I assumed was on lady Artemis's orders so when one of them spoke up suggesting we go to dinner I nodded gently and so our entire friend group chatted the whole way there and I moved to the table with my siblings and noticed the Ares cabin giving me death glares which the others noticed and soon I was sitting with the hunters,Athena cabin and my siblings.So it was no real surprise to anyone that after I left the dining pavilion I got attacked by ares cabin however the hunters arrived and Thalia told me that they were going to die which i nodded to.

Entering my cabin I jumped on my warm and fluffy bed and grabbed a book to read when i noticed a new book on my bedside which when I looked at it, it had a note which stated 'This book is for you Y/N and it is about the Odyssey which I feel like you shall find intresting and i hope that this book is looked after properly.Your's truly,Artemis'I felt flushed at the note as lady Artemis had left a book for me.I lay in bed and slept until the next day dreaming peacefully of a certain someone

(A/N theres another chapter done, yet my mental health has gone down due to school i think and this is helping me so ill kep writing! And as always please leave comments so that i know what im doing right.)
