Later that evening Princess Amelie stood in hers and Charles old spot. It was a floral tunnel hidden at the back of the garden that her father had built for them as a child as it was connected to the Leclerc's house with a tunnel. She was waiting for him and saw him approaching so she walked towards him.
"Bonjour Charlie" she says with a gentle smile
"Bonjour Ami" he says making her feel a little bit better about the situation "Can I talk first?" he asks and she nods "I wanted to apologise for blocking you all them years ago, I was just angry and let my emotions get the better of me because I was very overwhelmed"
"I'm sorry for not being there for you but you know what my father is like. He is just business and I tried to persuade him but he's just so stubborn sometimes but it really hurt when I thought you were ignoring me. I wanted to reach out multiple times but I couldn't bring myself to do it because I thought you would hate me and then we would be done forever!"
"I couldn't hate you princess. Trust me I tried so that I could move on and put my feelings to the side but I couldn't hate you and it made me so angry that you were always on my mind!" he admits
"I'm glad we met again" Amelie tells him honestly "I was so nervous to see you again"
"So am I Ami" he says putting his hand on hers before her phone starts to ring and it's Rhys telling her to get back before her father got curious as to where she was "I'll be at the paddock again tomorrow, maybe you'll see me in your garage"
"I hope to see you there princess, I'll be waiting" he says kissing her cheek before they say goodbye.
When she arrives at the paddock the next day, her and Rhys go straight to the Ferrari garage in time for FP1 while Loui went to the Mercedes garage with Jack.
Charles had just left the garage so she was stood in the guest area at the back of his box when the camera shows her so she waves to it when the crowd starts the cheer her name and she laughs at the sound of them.

When Charles returns to the garage they go to the motorhome to have some food when Arthur comes in with Lorenzo and Loui to join them on the table.
"Nice to see you two getting along again" Loui says smiling at the pair "My father would like to invite you all for dinner tonight at the castle. Please bring your mother and any romantic partners along with you, it would be lovely to have everyone there again."
"That's lovely, please come" Amelie says to everyone "It'll be like old times"
Later on in the evening when everyone is at the castle Pascale gets her phone out showing a picture of Charles and Amelie when they were younger and they agree to re create it.
