The alarm clock rang & Emilie turned it off

Adrien groaned, putting the blanket over his head

Emilie: Rise & shine, my love.

Adrien: Mommy.. no.

Emilie: Come on. You don't want to miss breakfast, do you?

He let out whines & looked up at her

Adrien: Are you making cinnamon roll pancakes?

Emilie: Mhm.

Adrien: Yay!

He wrapped his arms around his mother tightly & Emilie smiled, patting her son's head

Emilie: I knew that would be able to get you out of bed. Come on. Everyone is downstairs.

Emilie & Adrien walked downstairs to the kitchen, as everyone was gathered around the dining room table

Gabriel: Ah, you finally managed to get him out of bed, Huh?

Emilie: Yep. You know Adrien always is able to wake up whenever cinnamon roll pancakes are involved for breakfast.

Gabriel: That's why he's so energetic.

Emilie: But it's better having having an energetic son than one that acts melancholic.

She placed a kiss to Adrien's forehead & he hugged his mother, smiling a lot

Emilie: By the way, how is everything going with Felix, Amelie?

Amelie: Everything is going well. To be honest, I'm envious of you, little sis. You have a energetic son, yet my son acts crazy all the time.

Emilie: I'm sure that's because Felix hasn't visited us in a while. Plus, he's still adjusting to France.

Amelie: That is true.

Emilie: Speaking of which, where are Felix & Colt?

Amelie: They're out grocery shopping getting things for dinner.

Emilie: Oh, I see.

Gabriel: Oh, right. Honey, your doctor called earlier today.

Emilie: My doctor?

Gabriel: Yes. Remember, you made an appointment to see him today.

Emilie: Oh, I totally forgot about that. I'll get going later then. But let's focus more on eating

Adrien sat on his chair & smiled happily at the pancakes in front of him
