Harry was surprised to see you so soon after you had left. You explained the situation to him. His father didn't want him to go but Harry left with you anyways.
On the way to meet Hades who went to the castle to talk to Mal about what you needed, you and Harry picked up Uma and Gil.
You didn't think they were needed. You weren't entirely sure that your mother didn't leave of her own free will. It didn't look like foul play.
Ben asked you, "What is it you need from the museum? And please don't say fairy godmother's wand"
You answered, "The ruby slippers. I'm pretty sure my mom's in Oz and that's the only way I know how to get there and back safe and sound"
Gil asked, "How would your mom even get to Oz?"
You told him "With her silver slippers. There's two pairs of magic slippers. The Ruby ones belonged to the witch of the east. The silver ones belong to my mom"
Most people didn't know there were two pairs and often confused the two.
King Ben said, "I can't just let you guys go off to Oz. Mal comes with you or you don't go"
