I'm woken up early in the morning by the sun shining through my drapes directly on my eye lids. I get up, put on a house coat and I walk to the kitchen.

I live in a one story home. No pets, and no mom or sister. When I was 10 my whole family got into a bad car crash and my mom and sister died but my dad and I survived.

As I pour milk into my bowl of plain Cheerios i can smell the odour of plain Cheerios linger up to my face. It smells discussing. After I finish, I get to my bed room and look in my closet. There isn't much in my closet. 2 pairs of jeans, 2 pairs of shorts and 5 shirts. I scan my closet looking for something that would make me look like in not the new girl at high school.

Today was my first day at honey crest high school, and from what I've heard, 95% of the girls at there school will never have to work a day in there life because there so rich. Then there's me, Riley. 17 years old, no mom, no money, and I've had to work almost everyday of my life since I was 14. Even though the odds of me fitting in are slim to zero, I still had my hopes up. So I threw on a white lace top with black jeans and black flats. Shoes I have had for years, and jeans that have more rips in them then pimples on my face. I brush through my long brown hair and I fishtail it. A hair style my mom wore everyday. I then grab my bag and an orange and I'm off to school. I can feel one nervous sweat drop run down my temple as I put my hand on the handle of the school door, here goes nothing.
