James pov:
It's lunch after half a day of classes with riley. She's so nice, pretty, smart, pretty, cool... Did I mention pretty? She is the one girl I wanna grow old with.
I was and have been a player for quite some time now, ever since I was 'a bet'. I had moved to elementary school where all of my friends went to, and this very popular girl was there too. She was dared to date me then break my heart 4 months later. Ever since then I felt like it made me feel better to play girls. Get a new girl every week. But now, that I have met riley, I know that it wasn't the right thing to do. I just don't wanna fuck this one up badly like the rest of the girls I've dated.
I enter the cafeteria and I see all my friends at 'our table' that we always sit at. Then I see riley sitting alone at a table, so I go sit with her instead. My friends shoot riley and I nasty glares, but screw them. I'm sitting with riley.Riley pov:
So I was just having a peaceful lunch alone like it's always been at my old school. I never had any friends so I just got used to eating alone. Until the strangest thing happened. The popular boy, James who I met in my classes, comes and sits with me. I'm stunned in confusment, but also happy. He's so cute! He sat beside me in all the classes I've had, helped me around and, we even have lockers beside each other! This has been the best day of my life!! It's complete silence for a while, until I speak up.
"This is so unusual"
"What do u mean by that?" James replies.
"Well, in my old school, I've always ate my lunch alone. Especially without the popular guy!"
"Well, this school is different. And my life isn't full of rainbows either" James says. What could possibly be wrong with his life?? He fits in, has friends. What's bad about that?
