Chapter one –
First off I hated the fact that im up at 8:00 a.m. but when you’re the soon to be alpha you have duties you’re obligated to fulfilled throughout the day. Sometime I wish one of my three brothers were next in line so I can have a normal day once in a while. The only one that could be responsible enough to be able to handle the alpha title is Liam hes always be the mature one even more mature than me but I was born first so I guess its fate.
‘Harry whats taking you so long we have to do our rounds!’ my soon to be beta Niall mind linked me.
It’s funny before my 14th birthday when I turned into a wolf for the first time I had no clue about the mind link, once I turned I was able to hear so many thoughts I got scared I thought I was going crazy. My father explained to me that wolfs can hear the minds of other wolfs in our pack weather their in wolf form or not, he also told me that I have alpha blood in me if someone has their guard up (blocking their thoughts) I could pull down their guard and see what their thinking I normally never do that only when nessary.
‘I’ll be right down’ I told him through my thoughts as I walked down the stair into my kitchen were everyone was eating breakfast except Zayn of course he never wakes up early.
“Hey mom Niall and I are going to do our rounds.” O told my mom while grabbing one of the waffles she made.
“Yo Haz, can you tell Ni he owes me that five bucks.” Louis said to me as I was about to leave the kitchen I just started laughing once I heard my mom yelling at him for why Niall owes him money. “Mom it’s nothing just a friendly bet.” I could almost hear the smirk on his face.
‘Don’t forget to remind him.’ Lou mind linked me.
‘Lou we have mind link tell him yourself!’
‘Hey buddy.” Ni said once I reached him by the edge of the woods. Even though most of the town is wolf there still a lot of humans so we had to walk into the woods before shifting. Once we got far enough into the wood we both stripped down our clothes. I couldn’t help but look when Niall took off his shirt with his tone abs and what not. Thank god since I know all about alpha business I need to keep my guard up 24/7 so no one even has a chance to hear my disgusting thoughts. I hated when I had thoughts about other guys it only happened once in a while but still. Im NOT gay I can’t be. I have a beautiful girlfriend and im going to be alpha soon. There is not one pack in history that has a gay alpha ever. Plus, sooner or later im going to find my mate, the one girl that is going to make my world stop spinning, the one that I will do anything for to protect and to love. My brother Liam already found his mate, her name is Nebbie and shes in his history class. He’s like a lost puppy when hes not with her, a blind man can see the amount of love he has for her and she loves him just as much. It was hard telling her about being a wolf but she got used to the fact and accepted him for what he truly was. He always tells me that once I find my mate I will be the most happiest person in the world and even though I think that I love Layla (my girlfriend at the moment) now, all that love will be strictly friendship wise and i would love my mate with everything in my body. Well when that day comes all my “gay thoughts” will go away so I don’t have to worry.
“Hey dude you okay?” Niall said pulling me out of my thoughts.
“Yeah yeah just thinking.” I said giving hima huge grin so he knew I was okay.
He winked. “Thinking about getting it in with Layla later?”
“Shut up dude” I said laughing giving him a lite shove. I put my clothes in our usual spot in a log and shifted to my wolf. I started running knowing Niall can catch up. His dirty blonde wolf passed me in a flash. It only took us about half an hour to make our way around the territory and make sure no suspicious activity was going on. We got back to our clothes and shift back human. Once again I couldn’t help but look at his chest and down to his abs and then sown to his—
