The Confession (Alora POV)

It's coming close to the end of our junior year of high school, and Lloyd is still with that platinum-blond chick, but I'm not going to let that get me down at all. Besides that my day seemed to be going pretty well, my first couple of classes went smoothly in a way slight verbal abuse about being friends with Lloyd but what think of him is not true, and there's no way that they will change my mind about him. I was leaving my second class to head for my third class before lunch when I received a message from my best friend.

Greenbean: Hey, can you meet me under the bleachers during lunch? I have to tell you something really important, and it has to be only you.                                                                                        11:30 am

Gummybear: Um...                                                                                                                                                      11:30 am

Gummybear: Yeah, sure. What's wrong?                                                                                                             11:30 am

Greenbean: I'll tell you when I see you. I promise; love you 11:31 am

What I'm guessing is that that was a friendship. Love you. I mean, we do mess around saying I love you to each other, but oh how it hurts to say it when I do love him, and he's dating that princess, and she had not-so-good vibes about her. I can't read her mind, like something is blocking me from allowing me to. I clutched my phone to my chest wanting the pain to go away.

Gummybear: oh okay, I'll see you under the bleachers xo                                                                         11:33 am

I put my phone in my school bag and anxiously waited for class to finish so I could see what the matter was with Lloyd.

(Time skip lunchtime)

I rushed to my locker, grabbed my lunch, and headed to the bleachers to see what Lloyd wanted to tell me. I could see him pacing around like he usually does when he's anxious about something.

"Lloyd? Is everything alright?" the second he heard my voice, he whipped around and instantly rapped me into a hug like he was going to lose me or something terrible was about to happen, and he started trembling really badly. "Lloyd?" We sank to the ground as he was holding me really close. "D-did s-something happen?"

"I-I thought you were already a goner. T-that they have k-killed you during the period you had with her," He mumbled into my shoulder, I pulled away to see his face better, and tears were streaming down it, causing me to catch my breath, and I started them away.

"What are you talking about? I'm right here alive and breathing." I held his face in my hands, trying to get him to look at me. "I'm right here," he just nodded. A few minutes later, he calmed down a little and was able to say what was going on.

"So this morning I was walking to say hi to Harumi, but before she noticed me, she was talking to one of her friends about," he took a deep breath before continuing, "about e-ending your life so that she wouldn't have to worry about anybody else taking her man and joining my father in trying to conquer the city," he looked up at me with a look that made me want to hug him and tell him everything is going to be alright like there was no tomorrow but stayed still and listened.

"It made me realize something about you... That I want you and no one else but only you. If you don't believe me, read my mind." I just stared at him, not moving, completely stunned. "I feel at home whenever I'm around you ever since the day we met all those years ago." Hearing that caused me to crack, and I placed a hand on my cheek. "I Love you, Alora, with everything that I have and more, so much more."

"I love you too, Lloyd," leaning into his hand. Within an instant, he leaned in and kissed me, and I could feel all the love he had for me through that kiss.

We pulled apart to catch our breath and were about to share another kiss when the Garmadon sirens went off, causing me to squeak and buried my face in his shoulder. "Sorry, I guess I'm not used to that yet," he chuckled. "It's fine. I'm not quite used to it either." I smiled a little and got up so we could run to our lockers where the others were waiting. I was kinda glad that they didn't say anything about us holding hands. I could see Cole from the corner of my eye, looking at our hands intertwined, causing me to blush harder than I thought I could.

(After defeating Garmadon)

We headed back to the monastery, put everything up and went into the living room, and crashed there exhausted. Cole, Kai, and Zane took the bean bags, Jay and Nia took the loveseat, and Lloyd and I took the regular couch and snuggled up. I'm kinda glad the schools in the area close down due to the attacks that have been happening lately.

"Are we going to talk about what's happening between you two?" Nia Piped up, causing the whole room to look at Lloyd and me.

"We don't quite know yet." I looked at Lloyd, and he shrugged. "We'll talk about it later," he said as he leaned in and kissed me, I giggled after we broke apart a couple of seconds later, getting confused looks from the others.

Not long after, it finally clicked for Cole "Don't you hurt her again, or it will be the end for you, kid." That caused Lloyd to fall off the couch and give him a confused look after sitting up.
