Chapter 5 Now We Run

3rd POV

"The walls are collapsing! They're crumbling behind us!"

"Don't look back- run!! If the Koryu swallows us, we're done for!"

The bits of the crumbling walls were wriggling like tentacles, reaching out toward them. One of them snagged Uryu by the cape and began dragging him backward.

"Uryu!" Ichigo yelled and grabbed his sword but in a flash, Tatsuki appeared in front of Uryu, grabbed his arm and yanked him out.

"Thank-" Uryu was starting to say but she threw him over her head. The Quincy went flying through the air and was caught by Chad.

Yoruichi looked mildly impressed as Tatsuki shunpoed back to the group.

"What the hell was that?!" Uryu yelled angrily from Chad shoulder.

"Me saving you ass. You're welcome by the way." Tatsuki said.

"Wow, Tatsuki! That was amazing!" Orihime cried.

"W-Wait, guys!" Uryu shouted, "Something... Something's coming!"

From the crumbling darkness, there was a bright light as a giant blob cut through like a steam train.

"What is that?!"

"It's a Kototsu, a cleaner!!" Yoruichi exclaimed, "It appears once every seven years, but why now?! Run!! Very fast!! Run for your lives!!!"

They saw a small spect of light up ahead, "Hurry! The exit's just ahead!!"

The group ran at the light as fast as they could as the cleaner thundered closer and closer.

"No!! It's catching up!!"

The cleaner was right on top of them when Orihime turned around. 

"Orihime-" Tatsuki exclaimed.

"Hinagiku! Baigon! Lily!" Three beams of lights from were expelled from her hairpins, "Santen Kesshun!!"

"Reject!!!"

There was giant explosion from the small opening in the sky and they were thrown down to the ground below.
