Summary:
Kai yells at Yeonjun for making him lose a game.

3rd Person's POV:

Kai was in his room playing games. Yeonjun looked at the paper infront of him as his eyes turned glossy.  "12 hours only.....I should spend some time with him."  Yeonjun smiled and went to Kai's room.

He knocked on the door softly and asked  "Kai can I come in?"  Yeonjun heard a small leave me alone coming through the room. 

"Kai can we please cuddle? I don't feel good.. "  He asked.

"Do you not understand what leave me alone means!?"   Yeonjun flinched at the sudden tone of Kai.

"I-I just wanted to cuddle.."  Kai looked at him rolling his eyes and turned his head back to the game.  "Stop being so clingy hyung, you're being an attention seeker."   Yeonjun held on his stomach tighter biting his lip.

"No. Ugh dammit. See hyung! This is all your fault I lost the game look at what you did.  You're no use of being here."  Kai looked at him with his jaw clenched as Yeonjun slowly walked away with tears dripping down his cheek as he nodded.

"If he would've just left me alone, none of this would have happened."

Kai woke up and realised he had fallen asleep on his gaming set.  He looked over to his bed and saw it was empty.   "Hyung where are you?"  Kai checked by the nightstand to get his phone but realized there was a note.

He opened it and read it.

I'm so sorry for making you loose the game.  I didn't mean it.  You're right,  I'm no use of nothing.  I love you and forgive me one day.  Yeonjun- xoxo.

Kai dropped the note quickly checking everywhere for her but he was no where to be found. 

"I'm so stupid. I'm so stupid...where is he?"  As he looked around he saw a piece of paper underneath the letter. Kai picked it up.  It read; 

We regret to inform you the results of your test,  you came back positive and you only have 12 hours to live.

The paper was soaked in tears and realised why she wanted to cuddle.  Kai throw his jacket on and grab his keys frantically,  he couldn't let Yeonjun die.

Guilt filled his mind as he recalls the conversation they had before.  Kai ran out to his car going to the place Yeonjun would be.

The tree where they confessed to each other.  Both of them used to come here all the time to play and have picnics together.

Kai felt tears stream down his face as he remembered the memories.  He drives fast not thinking of anything but Yeonjun.

You didn't mean it.  How could you say that to her.  He was the reason you're still here.  Those words filled Kai's mind and he reached the spot.

He saw Yeonjun laying against the tree, crying.  As Kai runs up to him,  Yeonjun turns away.  "Hyung I'm so sorry, I'm so sorry, I didn't mean it, I'm so sorry."  Yeonjun turned towards him, smiling but had tears dripping down his face.

"You don't have to worry about me bothering you anymore..."  Kai bit his lips and let out a sob.  "No hyung,  hyung you are my everything, I need you."  And with that Yeonjun smiles more while his breathing gets labored.

"No, no.  This can't be happening. We have a life to live."  Kai tried to speak but it comes out as a whispered.

"What about our future we planned? What about our two kids we planned to adopt? Our house on the corner with the cherry trees that bloom and make the ground look like snow? What about our wedding we planned together on having it right here?"  Tears were uncontrollably fell from Kai's face as he spoke.

The pain was too overwhelming.  "There has to be a way to save you..."  Yeonjun looked at him  "Don't worry." 

"No no no no, I will save you, I have to.."

The air gre heavy with fog. It felt like as if it was alive, wrapping it's  none existent hands arounds his neck.  Kai sniffles a cry as it vibrates apon his lips.  Kai felt Yeonjun turn into his chest still holding on.

He wrapped his arms around Yeonjun with all the strength he has.  The only thought going in his mind was  'how' , how do I save her, how will I survive if he doesn't, how am I supposed to let her go.

'I can't and I won't. He is mine, no and nothing will take Yeonjun from me.."  Kai thought.

Yeonjun's body lays still and cold, against Kai's arm that once gave him warmth.  His breathing was nothing but a faint whisper.  His skin turning whiter than snow.  The world felt as if it were caving in on itself burying them in time where nothing was important.

The only sound, a cry left from Kai's lips as he lean to kiss Yeonjun a finale time. Even dying he tasted like life. An electric fire that burned hotter than the flame of the sun.  Yeonjun, even on the verge of death was still alive.

If only they were in a fairytale where a kiss could wake Yeonjun and bring him back to Kai.

Kai's POV:

I felt tears rolling down his face drenching my shirt.  The fog that once set heavy now gone but in it's place, the rain came.

Rain

It reminded me of Yeonjun.  His smile when the rain came as he dragged me out into it,  pulling me against him as we danced. As I spun her around in the grass as he glided with an unimaginable elegance.

I lean to kiss him one last time in hope that if he leaves me he will remember my love for him.

Always spend time with someone important to you because you never know when they will go.
