Untitled Part 1

 It's class time for class 1-A, and Mr. Aizawa is having the kids do silent reading. For once his gremlins are being quiet when Toshi comes walking through the door. Everyone is startled by Allmight coming into the classroom. Mr. Aizawa points out the door telling him to get out and stop interrupting class. Toshi apologizes quickly and says it's important. Mr. Aizawa says he can't just take Izuku whenever he wants just because he is helping him with his quirk. Allmight insists that it's something that Nezu told him to come to tell Izuku. Mr. Aizawa is now curious and lets Toshi come in. Toshi nods and goes over to Izuku getting down to his level, he looks sick with himself.

"What's wrong, Allmight?" asks Izuku.

"Young Midoriya I'm sorry kiddo, your mom...sigh....your mom was in a car accident," says Toshi.

Izuku doesn't hear anything else, he is trying hard not to panic. He didn't know what to do, his mom was in a car accident, he knew his mom could drive but she mainly was a walker unless she was trying to send updates of his life to his dad. He doesn't know why his mom still does that but respects her decisions. Toshi tries getting his attention calling out to him. Izuku looks around he doesn't know what to do. It takes all his strength not to cry. He's panicking and it's showing, that everyone around him is quiet. Their hearts go out to their classmate. Izuku reaches out a shaky hand and tugs gently on Kacchan in front of him. His voice is shaking as he tries talking to Kacchan. He looks down the tears rolling down his face.

"K-Kacchan...my mom's going to be okay, right?" asks Izuku quietly.

Kacchan doesn't make a normal response like he would with anyone else. He doesn't yell, he doesn't scream, he simply gets up accidentally breaking contact with Izuku. He moves Izuku's desk gently down. He gently pulls Izuku into a hug rubbing his hair.

"Yeah. Your mom is going to be okay, Auntie Inko is very strong. She raised you, didn't she? All by herself. You have nothing to worry about, nothing is going to take that woman," says Kacchan.

Izuku holds stiff he wasn't expecting a hug from Kacchan, especially after all these years. Kacchan rubs his hair more racking his fingers through Izuku's hair gently, Izuku breaks putting his head on Kacchan's chest holding onto Kacchan like his life depended on it crying his eyes out.

"You're okay. It's okay. *turns to Toshi* What hospital is she at?" asks Kacchan.

Toshi is put off guard but tells Kacchan what hospital is at. Kacchan drags Izuku up to his feet as gently as possible with a: "Let's go nerd, be back teach,". He gently holds Izuku's hand dragging him out of the classroom and out of UA's door. He leads Izuku to the hospital to a sunshiny receptionist.

"How can I help you?" asks the receptionist.

She had a rock-tooth grin other than that she looked relatively human. She has yellow hair and pink rose cheeks.

"Inko Midoriya, this blubbering nerd is her son," says Kacchan.

"Oh! Right this way," says the receptionist going to lead Izuku.

Kacchan goes to follow with Izuku in toe but the receptionist stops them saying that only family can go in there. Izuku squeezes tightly onto Kacchan's hand very tightly and gently.

"Kacchan...don't leave me please...besides Mom would want to see you too..." says Izuku.

"You hear that? Listen if you have to look the other way fine. If you need to feel better about it, that woman is my aunt. Got any more problems?" asks Kacchan.

The receptionist sighs not wanting to have a fight in the middle of the foyer of the hospital. She decides to show them to Inko's room. Inko is out asleep her breathing is stable, and her leg is up in a sling. She is stable and got out lucky with just a broken leg with a few scraps and bruises. Izuku ran over to his mom hugging her tears flying down his face. The receptionist excuses herself with the boys safely into the room. Kacchan shuts the door behind him so no one disturbs the trio. Inko wakes up and rubs her son's head telling him that everything is okay. She mentions how she will be there for a week and then will be free to go home. She shuts him up before he can offer to come home and take care of him.

"My darling boy, I will be okay, Mitsuki has already said I could stay with her while my leg is healing. Knowing her, I will be not allowed to move except to go to the bathroom," says Inko.

"Are you sure, I am sure the school will let me come home to help you, Mom," says Izuku.

"Yes, I am sure, your auntie will take care of me I promise. I want you to do good at school for me sweetie," says Inko

"Okay! I can do that!"

"Good boy. I am so proud of you baby," says Inko, tears start pouring. "I'm sorry I worried you!"

"No Mom don't cry! If you cry I will cry, I am just happy you're okay!" states Izuku, the tears falling out of his eyes.

Kacchan rolls his eyes but smiles watching the two interact. He just enjoys watching them. After the tears are cleared, Inko calls Kacchan over. Kacchan is hesitant but comes over to Inko. Inko hugs him happy and dotes on him. She comments on how big he is, hopes that he is eating well, and asks how school is going. She fixes his hair and rubs his cheeks making him turn red and look away from Inko answering her questions promising to visit more and to eat.

"Izuku baby, can you do me a favor before going back to school sweetheart?"

"Sure!"

"Can you get the nurse and ask her what the next plan is or when I can talk to the doctor."

"Yeah of course!"

He runs out the door on his mission. When Izuku is out of the room, she kisses Kacchan's forehead catching him off guard.

"Such a darling boy, thank you for taking care of my son. You were so strong for Izuku, even though I am sure you were worried too."

Kacchan rubs his head sighing he doesn't deny nor agree with what she says. She smiles at Kacchan.

"Katsuki, it's okay to worry about your loved ones and people you care about. I know you aren't a crier like us but it is okay to cry. I love you very much, you have always been like a second son to me."

"...I love you too, Auntie. I'm glad you're safe."

She smiles brighter at Kacchan, it isn't long before they hear the apologizing of Izuku on his way back to his mom. Kacchan backs up sitting crisscross on the floor. Izuku explains that the doctor said that he couldn't tell Izuku anything but would be in to talk to his mom later after finishing up with his current patient. Inko thanks Izuku for the information. She hugs Kacchan first giving him a light hug knowing that Kacchan isn't much of a hugger, before turning to her son and they hug again. She sends them off having them promise to eat dinner when they get to the dorm. They promise her and head out going back to UA. They are almost to the dorm when Izuku stops them outside the protective gate. He hugs Kacchan catching him off guard again.

"Thank you for today, Kacchan. I don't know what I would do without you."

"Yeah whatever nerd, don't let it get to your head. Let's head inside. Auntie said we both have to eat so your fucking eating! Now get!"

Izuku runs off laughing promising that he will eat and thanking him again for being there.

"I'll always be there for you nerd."

He knows Izuku didn't hear him but he prefers it that way, especially with their friendship stranged because of him. He will do better to be a better friend to Izuku. He hears Izuku call to him and hurries in to catch up with Izuku. He promises himself to always be there for his nerd. His friend.
