"Oppa catch it! You can do it!" you scream excited as you were playing soccer with you best friend Woozi.
"I got it! ..... or not." Woozi says as the ball flies over his face.
You burst out laughing. "Ohmygod you're so short!"
"Wha- hey shut up!" Woozi says offended.
"Okay okay. Let's try that again!" you admit and prepare to kick the ball once again.
Woozi is part of his school's soccer team and there's a match coming near. However, Woozi is the keeper but he's not really doing a good job catching the balls since he's a bit..... small.
"I don't know, why did our coach choose me as keeper?!" Woozi says sulking.
"Because you have talent oppa." you say.
"Talent?"
"Yes. Talent."
"Hmm... I don't know. I think I'll do better when I'm just in the field. At least then height doesn't matter." Woozi says sad.
"You worry too much. It doesn't matter how tall you are, but talent is all that matters. And you have that, but just because you think you can't do it, you really can't. Believe in yourself and everything will be okay." you say.
"Maybe you're right.. I could use some confidence though." Woozi admits.
"Nothing works better than advice from a best friend." you say, giving Woozi a quick wink.
"Now try it again. You can do it oppa!" you try to encourage him. You really do want him to believe in himself, because he's absolutely perfect.
You kick the ball as hard as you could, and watch in anticipation as the ball flies in Woozi's direction.
You can do it.....
"GOT IT!!" Woozi screams in excitement.
And yes, Woozi catches the ball with ease.
"I KNEW YOU COULD DO IT!!!" you scream happy and run to Woozi to give him a tight hug.
"Thanks ____, you're the best friend in the world!!" Woozi says happy.
"Hey, I only gave you the advice. You're the one who did it! You should be proud." you say while smiling.
"But still, without you I would've never been able to do it. I wouldn't know what to do without you. I love you ____.." he suddenly says.
Wait. He... loves you?
Woozi seems to have seen your surprised face as ye just realised what he just said.
"I-I mean... I mean I love you like... We're best friends so..." he says embarrassed.
You chuckle. So cute!
"It's okay, I love you too." you say as you pull him in for another hug.
"Really? You do?" he asks nervous.
"I do oppa." you say.
"____, I feel like this is the best moment to say what I've always wanted to say." Woozi says as he lets out a deep sigh.
"____, I've always liked you even before we actually met. When I saw you for the first time, I already felt a strong connection between us. I asked around to get to know more about you, and when I found out to which school you were going, I decided to transfer. That is the real reason why I'm here. I didn't move from far away, I'm here only because I want to be with you. I really wanted to get close to you. But I've never been in a relationship before. I don't have any experience with girls. I didn't know what to do... So I ended up totally friendzoning myself. I was so stupid... I should've told you immediately. You'll probably think of me as some creepy stalker or something." Woozi says almost crying.
You're shocked by the sudden information. Everything he did... Everything he said... Was just because he wanted to be with you... Suddenly you feel so terribly sorry for the poor Woozi who just dropped a small tear.
You take him in your arms and rest your head on his shoulder. "I'm sorry oppa.. I'm sorry for not noticing your effort in being with me. I'm sorry I didn't realise anything at all... I'm so sorry..." you say, also at the verge of tears.
"No, please don't be sorry. That will hurt even more. I'm the one who's sorry, I stalked you which is such a creepy thing to do. I feel disgusting.."
"No, it's okay, don't be sorry. Actually, what you did... Makes me really happy. I feel so happy to know that a person went through all this trouble just for me. You're no creepy stalker, you're not disgusting... You're the sweetest person I've ever met." you say.
"____, I want to ask you.. Will you be mine? Will you be my girlfriend?" he asks, looking at you with nervous eyes.
You smile and nod. "Yes, oppa. I'd love to be." you say and Woozi immediately hugs you as tight as possible.
"Ugh, oppa, I can't, breathe..." you say struggling.
"Omg I'm so sorry! Did I hurt you?" he asks concerned.
You chuckle. "No oppa, everything's okay." you say.
Woozi sighs. "Thank god, I thought I choked you! I won't let anyone hurt my precious princess." he says in a sweet tone.
You smile as he leans in closer to place his lips onto yours.
