I opened my eyes and immediately could tell that I was naked. After a couple of seconds, it occurred to me that I was extremely close to someone who was also naked. I could tell who it was before I even looked up to see Rhys' startled red eye looking down at me, just as shocked as I was.
"Oh my god?!" I said as Rhys and I scrambled up out of the bed we were lying in, for only a second before I grabbed the blanket to cover my naked body. Rhys seemed so out of it, that idea hadn't occurred to her yet.
"What in Oktu's name is going on here?!" Rhys yelled, "What happened last night?!"
"I don't remember!" I said, "I thought this was the kind of thing that only happens in movies! Do you remember anything?"
"Uh, we stayed at that house," said Rhys, "We got a couple drinks from that lady... oh no."
"What?" I asked.
"They must have been witches," said Rhys, "They love doing tricks like this. She must have slipped something into our drinks. We have to be careful, those things can have awful side-effects."
"Like...?" I asked, right before I seized up, fell over, and blacked out again.
When I opened my eyes again, I couldn't move. Panic set in and I tried to call out for help, but my mouth wouldn't cooperate with me. The only thing I could do was blink.
"Riley? Riley, what's wrong?"
Rhys came into my field of vision and started shaking me. I wanted to respond, to call to her for help so bad, but my body was not cooperating.
"Moor-acu!" Felice called, "Moor-acu!"
Rhys struggled to lift me up, but for some reason, she couldn't.
"I'm still too weak," said Rhys, "Those drugs did a number on me."
"I'll do it." Felice said. I could feel her possess my body, and I was brought to my feet. My head lolled to the side for a moment before Felice straightened me out.
"She's completely paralyzed," said Felice, "This is silifon residue, I'm sure of it."
"Silifon!" Rhys said, "That explains... a little too much."
"We can explain everything when you're able to walk again on your own, moor-acu," said Felice, "Right now, we should probably get dressed."
It just occurred to me that I was still butt-naked, but considering I couldn't move a muscle to save my own life, I didn't really have the ability to feel embarrassed.
Felice maneuvered me to my discarded clothes to put them back on while Rhys turned her back. I had a pretty good idea she was still blushing at everything that happened. Eventually, Felice managed to get those clothes on me, more or less, while Rhys got dressed as well.
"Alright, now that you're both decent," said Felice, "We need to find Baugh and Jagos and get out of this area, now!"
"Oh? Are my guests awake?"
My blood ran cold at the sound of the woman from a different room. Rhys pulled her sword immediately, while Felice ducked me behind her.
"I won't be able to fight as well as usual since I have to control moor-acu's entire body right now." said Felice, "Rhys, can you handle this one?"
"Easy." Rhys said. She pulled her own sword just as Lillian came into the room.
"Well, there's no call for violence!" said the woman when she saw Rhys with her sword, "What seems to be the matter?"
"What seems to be the matter is that you drugged us, you witch!" Rhys yelled, "What's your angle?! What do you want from us?!"
"Whatever do you mean?" the witch asked, "My drinks had so substances in them other than my lovely relaxation spells... though I admit I may have overdone it a little on the two of you."
