As Reo prepared himself for the party he thought about if Nagi would be there.

If Nagi would go, he'd be fucked.

He made his way to the party just quietly sitting in his car thinking if its really a good thing that him and Nagi are getting closer, i mean they constantly fought before. Would it really make a difference if they stopped? They said and did things that physically and mentally attacked the other. How would the painful hate they had for each other suddenly disappear?

Reo shut himself up as he arrived, he shoved those thoughts to the back of his head. He was gonna enjoy this party and forget he ever thought about things like that.

He entered the place and immediately covered his ears, it was loud. He took some time to adjust but soon was able to spot his two best of friends.

"Eyy Reo!!"

Chigiri waved frantically over to him, obviously in the process of getting tipsy.

"Hi Chi!! And you too Kuni!"

Kunigami gave him a nod before trying to calm down Chigiri once more

"How much has he had to drink?"

"God, too much for me to handle."

Reo let out a small giggle as he let himself fade into the night.

POV CHANGE ; nagi pov

Nagi was never known as the type to go to parties. Whenever he was randomly invited he always made up the most fake excuses. But this time, he had someone to expect. He was acting unlike his usual self and even he could tell that. As Nagi entered he was disappointed to find out the man he was looking for has not yet arrived. In normal nagi fashion he took out noise cancelling headphones and after finding his friends he took a seat in a corner and played his game.

He couldn't stop himself from taking glances everytime the door slightly opened. But right when he was about to give up and regret his choice Reo entered, he was goregous. Nagi was in awe, Reo always looked like this but this was the first time Nagi payed close attention. He was stunned, looking like a kid seeing an attractive person for the first time.

His eyes wouldn't stop following Reo, to his seat Nagi still stared. He knew it was weird but no matter how much he tried to avoid looking at Reo it was to no avail. As he caught another glance, he saw the most uplifting smile. It was like he could hear Reo's beautiful voice and how he giggled.

Nagi was certain he was in love.

Then, a stupid girl came up to Reo. Nagi could hear her, loud and clear.

"Reo-san.. could I get your number?"

At least he didn't even need to ask for it, beat that random girl. What he was enraged to see was Reo doing it so nonchalantly. No, they didn't have anything going on, Yes, it could be one sided but who cares? Nagi was now pissed at someone who he isn't even dating.

He knew he'd get the lecture of his life from his friends as he stomped towards the bar but who gave a shit?...

....

The time was now 11pm. Nagi could barely feel his bones, it wasn't like him to get drunk. But how could he not? Reo would really be the death of him. Not in a million years would he imagine himself pining over the Reo Mikage. Such a hassle..

POV CHANGE ; reo

I caught Nagi looking at me multiple times tonight. It was weird, he kept eyeing me. He was acting off, different, unlike his usual personality.

I mean we aren't that close but I am not a stranger to Nagi's usual behavior. After all, we fight half of the time. Out of nowhere, my body moved on its own. My legs just stood up and walked to Nagi's direction. Why couldn't I stop myself? Fuck, why am I infront of him now..?

Nagi raised his head to look at me, looking uninterested as always. I should just walk away— no, that'll make it much more awkward. And so I sit down beside him and start a conversation.

"Wanna grab a.. maybe a drink?"

I caught a nod from Nagi and took that as a good sign. Maybe tonight won't be that awkward to be with him after all.
