"Uh, Dusk Light. Why did you convince me to come with you to this world?" Fluttershy asked feeling well, shy.

"Because I want you to at least be used to these things in other worlds," answered a 13-year-old Dusk Light.

Dusk Light and his friend Fluttershy, have just arrived in Shrek's world, where fairytales come to life. The young human-fox prince first met the ogre and his companion Donkey about six years ago when he was discovering new worlds. During that time, he also met Princess Fiona who transformed into an ogre at night. After that time and another adventure in Far Far Away, he also met the famous Puss in Boots, who along with some more of their fairytale friends in this world are now members of G.A.L.A.

As for why he brought Fluttershy with him, ever since Nightmare Night (the Halloween equivalent in Equestria), he wanted Fluttershy to be used to seeing all kinds of weird stuff when traveling to other worlds.

"If you were gonna bring me to a scary world, couldn't you have also brought someone like Luigi with you?" Fluttershy questioned.

"I thought about it, but I felt like Luigi goes through enough with capturing ghosts."

After walking down a forest path for a while, Dusk and Fluttershy encountered Shrek and Donkey looking over a map. They could also see Fiona in the onion carriage in the back.

"Ah... that's a dead end," said Shrek as looked at the map.

"Ah, come on Shrek. Who needs a map, when you got animal instincts?" said Donkey.

"Yeah, like me," Dusk said as he made himself and Fluttershy present.

"Ey! Dusk Light!" Donkey ran up to Dusk and Fluttershy, "Who's this pony?"

"Uh, I'm a Pegasus," Fluttershy corrected, "I'm Fluttershy."

"Can see why they call you that," Shrek commented.

"Fluttershy, these are my friends, Shrek and Donkey," Dusk said to the shy pegasus.

"I wanted Fluttershy to start being used around strange things," Dusk Light explains, "So I thought your world would be ideal."

"Well, you won't have to worry with me, as your noble steed!" Donkey declared.

As Shrek continued to look at the map, Dusk saw Fiona and decided to introduce her to Fluttershy.

"You know, we can always fly there," Donkey said to Shrek.

"Is there an off button on you?" Shrek retorted.

"Hi, Fiona," said Dusk, "This is my friend Fluttershy..."

But his sentence trailed off when he saw Fiona sniffling.

"Are you alright?" Fluttershy asked.

"Yeah, you shouldn't be this unhappy until years into the marriage," Donkey added.

"This is the happiest day of my life," Fiona wept, "It's just..."

"Could it be that you're overwhelmed by love?" wondered Fluttershy.

"No, I mean yes. But that's not why I'm..."

"Oh, let me guess. The shrimp platter was bad?" Donkey guessed.

"I don't think that's the..." Dusk tried to think of what else could be making Fiona sad.

"Wait! Wait! I got it," Donkey declared, "You always wanted a puppy. But all you got was toast."

"NO! I'm sitting in an onion!" Fiona corrected.

"An... onion?" said Fluttershy.

"Yes. This carriage is one big onion."
