Pushing my way through the large crowd of kids, I finally made it through. Giving me a perfect view of the fight in front of me, I rolled my eyes stomping my way into the middle of the circle. Grabbing onto Craig's ripped white tee, "Craig that's enough of the fighting for today!" I looked up seeing his soul mate Bryce. He was brutally beaten, I couldn't help but laugh at this sight.

"Fuck you Bryce, and fuck that bitch you had sex with!" He shouted, trying to get out of my hold, I tightened my grip on his shirt. I felt like Craig was a dog trying to attack the smaller dog and I, (the helpless owner) holding his leash for dear life.

"You knew I had a boyfriend." Bryce spoke hoarsely, catching his breath. "Great now everyone knows I'm gay." My mouth grew into a line as tears crowded my best friends eyes. "You promised." he said above a whisper, I looked around as the kids watched the drama go on.

"Why isn't anyone in class?" I heard a deep voice behind me. Turning on my heels, I spotted the principle. "It's time to go." I said as he made his way through the crowd, releasing Craig's shirt I pushed my way through the opposite side of the crowd.

Craig was huffing and puffing besides me. "You know what Craig? You caused that on yourself. Now the whole school knows you're fucking Philip's boyfriend." I clapped my hands together, hoping he caught on to my sarcasm. He groaned, placing his hand on his forehead. "I feel like I got ran over by a truck." I shrugged.

"That's the feeling of tossing a 6'5 dude who weighs no more than 240 pounds." He chuckled at the thought before throwing his arm around me, "You could've been here to see the fight if you came to school on time."

"Of course because it's my fault, my aunt was anti-quote hoeing around again." His mouth turned into a smirk, "Speaking of that she asked me to join in on her business."

His eyebrows furrowed together, "She calls sleeping with men a business?" I pushed the doors of the cafeteria open. "Only because she makes a bunch of money." We made are way to sub line, "And what did you say?" Craig asked grabbing an apple, I bit the corner of my lip grabbing a tray.

"Yes?" I whispered, his eyes widened. "What the hell Skai?!" I sighed, "When I live on my own, how am I gonna be able to support myself?" His face grew blank, and he nodded. "Bitch why do you think you attend school?" I rolled my eyes, "School is a waste."

"But what about all those time we called her a hoe?" I lowered down at our table before twisting the tip off of my Sprite Bottle. "Have we ever called her broke?" He smirked before mushing my face, "Good point."

"How's your mother doing?" I rolled my eyes, placing my elbows on the table. "I don't know she won't talk to me." He shook his head, before eyeing the door.

I watched as Miguel walked in, I have heart eyes for the kid I must admit. A little crush, Craig thinks it's more. He made eye contact with me, making me turn back around in my seat.

"But anyways I'm tired of living with my Aunt, her guests visiting and staying over every night is so annoying." I stated as Miguel made his way over to our table.

"But think you can have any one of her guys you want."

"Is that right?" Miguel interrupted sitting beside me, I looked over to him. "Well how rude of you?" He flashed one of his charming smiles before responding.

"I was just ease dropping."

"Mmm..."

"But what's going on with you?" I pulled my hair behind my ear and replied, "Nothing much, working." Craig coughed.
