Forbidden love

Prologue

The story begin with a boy named Blaze and he lived on an island in the middle of the Indian Ocean. One day he decided to get off the island and that's when he found out the most terrifying secret. On main land he met his mother and she told him a bunch of other stuff about the secret. That's where he met Polly but that's not where this story begins. This story begins on his 14 birthday when he was still on the island.

"Happy birthday," Blaze's mom and dad sang.

"Thanks guys," Blaze said as he took the last present off the table and opened it.

"Looks like there's a storm brewing," Blaze's dad said as he scratched he hairy beard.

"Gary, it's our son's birthday at least try to pay attention to him," Blaze's mom roared.

"Mom, I don't feel so good. I think I'll just go to bed," Blaze said as he got up and walked up to the phone and picked it up , then walked upstairs to his bedroom.

When he got to his room he laid down on his bed and looked at the mirror on his bedside table. Blaze wondered why he has black hair , blue eyes and light skin , but everybody in his family has blonde or brown hair , has every eye color but blue , and dark skin. Then, he got up to go brush his teeth and take a bath. When he got halfway down the stairs he heard his mom and dad arguing.

"I mean , his 14 birthday came so fast. Plus , what are we going to tell him when he starts shifting," Blaze's mom yelled as her curly blonde hair in her green eyes covering her glasses.

"Mallory, calm down if he starts shifting we will bring him back to his mother. You remember where she lives don't you," Gary said while he got up from his chair and walked up and hugged her.

"Still if he finds out we adopted him he'll hate us for sure." Mallory cried as she wiped her eyes.

"Like, I said we will bring him back to Hawaii to meet his mother," Gary repeated.

My real mother and what did they mean shifting Blaze wondered. Then he walked back to his room as the rain hit the roof sounding like gunshots. When he got back to his room he picked the phone and dialed ,his best friend, Patrick's number.

"Patrick, meet me on the dock now!" he said then hung up the phone to pack his stuff.

He climbed out his window and started running through the woods until he reached the other side of the island. Then, up to dock where Patrick was waiting.

"Hey, why you told me to meet you here?" Patrick asked as his red hair was all in his face.

"I'm taking the raft to find my mom in Hawaii," Blaze explained as his black hair flew in the wind.

"Are you crazy! It's thundering and lighting out there. They're on hurricane watch! I'm not going out there. No way!" He said.

Just then, struck of lighting hit the dock causing both of them to fell in the raft sending them out to sea. The next day, Blaze woke up on a beach but he couldn't move or talk. All he did was lay there. Then, he saw a girl looking at him. She has long black hair with blonde streaks. Her bangs covered one eye and her other eye was as red as her lips.

"Are you okay?" the girl asked him.

"Polly, come on his blood isn't good anymore," a voice said as the girl turned around and walked away.

What did the voice mean my blood isn't good anymore , who was that girl and why was the voice calling her Polly , Blaze wondered. He laid in the sand motionless then he started hearing footstep get closer and closer. All of a sudden , he closed his eyes and fell asleep.
