Undying Love

A/N: Hello. :) To celebrate Halloween, I decided to make a oneshot lemon for Adventure Time based on, guess who? Marceline's Mom, Elise! :D As for my other stories, I'm happy to see that Regular Show: A Cloud in the Sky (apologies for the delay) will be up within the first week of November. Until then, I hope you enjoy this short story, which will be linked to a future Adventure Time story I'm cooking up about a certain unauthorized universe. ;) And for clarity's sake, my OC, Damon, is portrayed by Zeno Robinson in this time frame.

"I used to wonder: What could be left in this world? Why do we still go on? The end already came and destroyed everything around us, like a wheat field stripped bare of their fruits of labor. And yet, we still are what we are. But what are we anymore?"

A loud thunder crackled through the sky, illuminating the otherwise darkened sky. Drops of rain peppered over the ruins of a once-proud and thriving city. It looked as though it had endured the worst kind of nuclear fallout, and sadly not for the better.

Entire buildings that used to be skyscrapers were dragged to the ground. Even the asphalt roads were ruined, completely torn apart due to what one could only assume was the result of Earthquakes. Puddles of rain were growing into lakes, and those lakes would sooner or later become oceans. But for now, they reflect the ruined world as lakes. Just then, a hooded figure zipped over one, his reflection never to be seen. It was a vampire.

This vampire was running for his life across the city ruins. Over his chocolate skin, he wore an unzipped black hoodie with a red shirt underneath and black jeans and shoes. And there were two bite marks in his flesh, practically pulsating on his skin. The bite itself was most recent. And he was scared out of his mind.

When he got under the freeway that remained, the vampire set himself down to rest on what little shelter he had. He was out of breath, and trembling with fright. And he had not the least idea which way to go, much less if there was anywhere to go. He peeked over the column of the freeway carefully, looking over it for any sign of the monster he was running from.

The stranger scraped his claw over the stone column in a way that would've cut deep into a cat if he happened to have petted one that instant. This man was very tense, for the beast he ran from scared him to no end. He could still hear his chuckle rattling around in his head...

"Why do you struggle, Damon?"

Damon gasped and looked behind him. All he could see was his silhouette, but it was a tall, dark, and malignant being, his two blue and thin eyes staring into his soul, and his two fangs gleaming in the night like silver.

"You're swimming against the force of an immovable tide. Eventually, you'll drown."

Damon panicked, picking up a nearby rock and chucking it at his head, but to no effect.

"Stay away from me!" shouted the runaway. His pursuer seemed to vanish the instant lightning struck. However, as the thunder rolled out, he still remained.

"I'm afraid I can't do that."

Desperate to get away, the vampire ran from the shadow, continuing his escape under the freeway. But little did he know that he wasn't the only one under this wrecked road.

Just a moment earlier, a red car was lying under the freeway. The hood was totally jacked up, and the engine appeared to be smashed by a crumbling section of the freeway itself, but it was of no consequence as the doors were still able to work. Inside the red car were a mother and a daughter.

The mother was a tall, thin woman with a dark complexion and short, shaggy black hair, and with a Double-E bust, as well as a thick bottom, giving her an hourglass figure. She also had slight bags underneath her eyes. Her clothes were a green long-sleeved jacket, a white shirt that barely hid the outlines of her bosom, blue jeans with holes in the knees that cradled her bottom, white socks, and dark-green high-top sneakers. Her red cloak was wrapped around the girl like a blanket.
