Hye Jin
So I finally rush out this modern-birth-contol-building also known as my university.
I bumped into this dude today, and let me tell you, he was outrageously sociable. It's like everyone nowadays is trying to pull off this introvert act, but not this guy. He was the epitome of self-expression!
As the river of these thoughts flood through my mind, I vigorously nod my head, shifting my attention to my cozy bed. With a graceful leap, I dive into its welcoming embrace, and it swallows me whole with a bear hug. Let me tell you, beds are like the happiest puppy greeting you and the saddest breakup letter bidding you adieu.
Especially when you sleep in the afternoons after universities , the sleep as per me is counted the next thing near to heaven .
As I dive into my new mystery novel, the sweet melodies of my favorite singer serenade my ears. This guy is seriously underrated, I mean, have you heard his stuff? He deserves a Nobel prize for the way he weaves his lyrics into the darkest corners of society. It's like he's shining a light on all the stuff we don't want to talk about. But before I know it, I'm out like a light, dreaming of solving mysteries with my hero and his haunting tunes .
Unfortunately, my attempt to take a day off by sleeping in and snoring has not been successful due to a lack of luck because, while I was in the land of nod, I suddenly found myself in the midst of a mind-boggling dream, as if my imagination had decided to throw a wild party without my consent.
And the worst part of it is that it is a lucid dream. God knows whether this was a dream or a vision.
[Visions come to moonlings after they are blagued . Here blagued means when moonling children are blessed with the certain moonling powes from their parents indicating that now they serve as a rightful moonling. Hye Jin's parents died , so she is left unblagued . So she is not considered a moonling yet .]
I don't think that I am experiencing a vision, as I have not been graced with the enchanting moonling abilities just yet. It seems I shall have to patiently await the day when I am officially recognized as a bona fide moonling and pledge my allegiance to the moonling code of conduct.
I'm clueless about the hows and whens, but I'm pretty sure it won't involve me cracking a terrible joke and summoning my dead parents to give me a good whack and then plead them to blague me . Let's keep this reality, shall we?
All in all , it should not be a vision .

"Hey, who's there? Mom, is that you?"
"Oh, absolutely, darling! It's me, your one and only fabulous mother," my MOM replies, her lips curving into a smile that could rival the Mona Lisa. Her skin, well, let's just say it's gathered around her eyes like a bunch of excited puppies, all eager to join in on the fun. And boy, does that grin of hers reach her eyes! It's like a marathon runner, sprinting all the way to the finish line of pure joy.
Despite my worries, it seems that her maternal instincts have gone on a permanent vacation, leaving her poor daughter to fend for herself. Does she even remember that she left her daughter to suffer since years ? Meanwhile, I'm over here stressing like a squirrel trying to cross a busy highway.
"Why on earth are you gracing me with your presence? I must say, it takes some serious nerve to waltz back into my life after abandoning me with a pack of strangers to endure the agonizing aftermath. Bravo to your exceptional motherly instincts, truly commendable." I must admit, my words may have had a touch more venom than I anticipated.
"Oh, do calm yourself, my dear offspring! Your dear old dad and I made that decision fully aware of the consequences. And mark my words, once you discover the truth, you'll be kicking yourself for uttering such insolence. But for now, my darling, I implore you to join me on this little adventure." Mom extends an arm, hoping against hope that I would choose to follow her .
