Bella shivered, suddenly feeling the hair at the back of neck stand up. It was the siren noise. She took a deep breath, trying to surpress her pain as she followed the others who had moved forward.
Yunha lead the way as the walked towards the school. She stopped in front of the gate, removing the slate as she pushed it wide open. The gate opened with a loud creak and wind blew right into their faces.
Just as she was about to move forward she was stopped by renjun, who held her wrist. "Are we sure about this?" He gulped as evrybody looked at each other. "Yes, we have a friend to save" Minji said as yunha pressed her hand on renjun's, nodding softly.
Meanwhile, Bella clenched her eyes abruptly at the siren that began ringing in her ears again. But it was not like the other time. This time, it was awfully loud and excoriatingly painful.
Unable to keep up with the pain, she dropped down to the ground on her knees.
Jisung detached his eyes from the view as he felt bella's hold on his hand drop. Looking to his side, his eyes widened at the sight of her on the ground, covering her ears and eyes shut.
"Bella!" He said loudly panickstruck as the others looked over. Everybody sped over towards the girl who was now slightly yelling.
"What's going on?" Haechan said as worry spread though everybody. "Did she hurt herself?" Renjun piped in looking at the girl in concern.
Jisung scurried over holding her, "I-I don't know, she let go of my hand and all of a sudden I see her on the ground!"
Minji knelt down beside the girl who was now clutching her ears really hard, "Bella, let go of your ears" she said as she tried to pull away her hands off her ears but bella only shaked her head vigorously as tears ran down her face. "you're hurting yourself!" minji could only stare in shock at the girls nails pressed into her ears, all bloody.
"S-Somebody do something!" Jisung yelled as he looked at bella who's skin was slowly turning pale and tears increasing as time passed by.
Mark bent down beside her as he checked her pulse "I think we should take her to the hospital righ-" "Move!" He was interrupted by a nabi who had suddenly appeared after disappearing for a while.
She knelt down, grabbing bella's face as she layed in on her lap. Somehow, bella only screamed more, finally opening her eyes looking at the girl infront of her.
"Do you know what happened to her?" Jaemin said as he watched the girl open up a water bottle, "Yes, very well. Move over" Nabi motioned to stay away as jeno came from behind helping minji get up.
Bella would not let jisung let go as he tried to stay but Nabi motioned him to move over. Unaware of the situation she was in he could only obey as he let go standing beside his sister who tried to calm him down.
Nabi sprinkled the water over bella's face as the girl only screamed more. Haechan, who was untrustworthy of the girl furrowed his eyebrows moving forward but was stopped by yunha who motioned him to wait.
Bella screamed for a while. Her skin was milk white, but not in a good way. Nabi held the girl's wrists pinning them to her sides. she pulled out two crosses and pressed each on the girls wrist as fumes rose out and bella yelled.
Marks eyes widened, "Her wrists are burning!" Renjun stepped forward, "What are you doing?!" Jisung came over only to be stopped violently by nabi who stared right into his soul, "Do not come forward or this will be you too in a few minutes"
Bella's screams now turned inhumane, her eyes turned pitch black, she was uproared and her voice didn't even sound like hers anymore. She wagged her legs up and down and yelled with her entire heart.
The others could only stare in utter shock and disbelief the sight in front of them. Anybody could tell the girl was possessed. Jeno got his phone out, in an attempt to call for help but could only curse silently as his phone had shut down.
The poor girls knuckles turned snow white as she screamed loudly and her body sprung upwards as if she was electrotuced.
Bella looked at the ceiling above in shock as the color to her skin finally started to return. she closed her eyes, feeling bright red blood dripping down her nose. she slowly returned back to the ground.
Nabi looked at the girl motioning her head up as she looked above chanting something over and over. Bella slowly calmed down as she quietly listened to nabi's chant, her body trembling and chest heaving up and down.
As Nabi finally let go of her, Jisung ran forward along with everybody behind him. They all circled the girl, bombarding her with questions. Yunha helped her sit up as minji held her chin, helping helping her drink the water that Jisung fed her.
Renjun and haechan rubbed her ice cold hands as instructed by nabi to provide warmth to her. The girls helped her get up.
Jaemin rushed back to the front door. He collided with the translucent door covered in fog as the tucked the knob.
"Fuck," he cursed as he went back in, "jeno!" he entered back in as he called over the jacked up male figure, followed by mark. "What happened?" Jeno asked as jaemin motioned towards the closed main door, "It won't open"
Jeno frowned as mark looked closer, to get a better look. Jeno motioned mark to move over. Wrapping his fingers around the knob he tugged with force. Pulling further, he tried to open the door but to his despair the knob came off as it rolled down falling to the floor.
Jeno looked behind holding the now broken knob as the two boys gaped at him, jaw open.
"Let's try to break the door" Mark suggested as jaemin nodded. The three got into position as they turned sideways.
"Okay, ready? 1, 2, 3.." Jaemin counted as the boys dashed forward with full force at the count of three. "Again!" The three boys kept pushing and thrashing for a while but all in vain.
They took a break to catch their breath, just as they were about to resume their pushing a distant oice was heard from inside.
