A reminder that I am NOT a professional! I am however an adamant book lover and have enjoyed reading and writing my entire life. These are my opinions and the things that I notice, enjoy, find need of touching up, etc.

Enjoy!

"not to be dramatic, but my only goal now for writing is to at least finish one book before anything happens to me. I'm in the warzone, and I can't get out (yet) it'd be nice if I had a regular schedule"- YouCanCallMeCorn

~Let's just take a moment to send our well wishes to our writers affected by this current crisis, and that they may continue their passions in life safely, and they can enjoy long futures of said passions going forward. Descriptive:

"Kuroko Tetsuya hasn't experienced true freedom in years. But when Crown Prince Akashi Seijuro offers him an opportunity to break free from slavery, he knows he must take it. That is, if he makes Aomine Daiki, the cursed prince of their rival kingdom, a king.***The Shadow: Kuroko Tetsuya is a Dancer. To everyone, he is a harmless entertainer, but to Crown Prince Akashi Seijuro, he is the most dangerous assassin. He is given a final mission. If he succeeds, he and his brother will be liberated from the clutches of the Palace's cruel political schemes. It should be simple, but he soon finds his heart torn between two princes. The Lion: Akashi Seijuro is his king father's last surviving son. One would think that his position as the Crown Prince would secure his future as the nation's new leader. However, a rumor has been circulating within the Palace: he may have murdered his older brother. Wishing to ascend to the throne, he sends the best assassin to another land to help him fulfil his destiny. Because to achieve greatness, he must exploit everyone around him, including the boy he loves. The Dragon: Aomine Daiki is the Cursed Prince of the Southern Kingdom. Nobody truly knows why. He is now the exiled prince who roams the seas in search of gold, hoping to exact revenge on his uncle and cousin who stole what was rightfully his. Little does he know that his life will be made far more complicated by the arrival of a dancer from another kingdom. And he might be slowly falling for him."

The stories descriptive fits the story line perfectly! Follow along as our dancer Tetsuya is given no choice but to play a role in the fine balancing game of ruling over kingdoms. Will he triumph? Will it be love that leaves him defeated? Betrayal?

Chapters 1-15:

-I would just like to say there is an inclusion in the start of our story that disclaims our readers that this novel is based off a manga the author read as a child. However, you do not need knowledge of this manga as a reader of this novel, thank you for including the disclaimer.

-I loved such a strong first start to the chapter- we are given exact details of where our story begins through cleverly placed details throughout the start of our tale. Brief glimpses into the people's religions, political structure, and introduction to expectations that follow. We have entered the strict and demanding regime of the "Royal Family". One of I'm assuming a few we will be soon introduced to. I was sad it was a bit shorter, but that may be my selfishness in aways wanting more.

-I loved your detail to character descriptive! I gazed on the beauty of our first woman. Although I'm sure everybody views each one a bit differently, I feel as though I could picture most physical aspects perfectly. Not to mention emotion that follows alongside.

-My taste for more was satiated with the following chapters, more fullness to the story with the detail and developing plot. Tetsuya's beginning journey, his dynamics within in the palace, what he must do... the pain it may cause him. But may the reward be sweeter?

-I'll be honestly I read chapters 1-15 fairly quickly, I was so invested in the story that the following points will be just written pieces and details I liked about the story! Of course, I'm sure in certain moments of the story need editing to be a finalized piece, but not much stood out... not enough to alter me reading the story. It was a smooth read from start to finish. (I did finish it)

-In the beginning of our story we have our main character Tetsuya (who if referred to in various ways, you catch on fairly quick). Throughout this story, our author writes a descriptive and intimate relationship of all of those through Tetsuya's path. He is a well written character, but as are all the others. Each one is unique in some way and the writer makes sure to bring acknowledgment to this as well.

-Great detail to scenery, the kingdoms lands and surrounding territories. The emotions deeply rooted in the story are easy to feel. I felt the sorrow, pain, worry...hope.

Notes:

-No notes available- no major grammar edits, plot holes or anything truly so far.

Conclusion:

I do not believe this is the finalized version, but it feels like it is on the cusps of being a finished work. I have really no other notes, this was a wonderful read, and I will be finishing said novel. YouCanCallMeCorn is a talented storyteller and I recommend checking out their piece!

The review may progress sometime in the future/gain detail as I finish the story and I learn exactly how I want to write these reviews.

Thank you for trusting me with your work!! I look forward to the day it is complete!

Keep on writing!
