The next morning Acacia woke up and notice something different. She lay in bed and looked around the room. The walls, and the ceiling looked nothing like the room she was in when she's on the cruise.
Through the window she could see that is not the ocean, but a strange town and palm trees. She got up slowly and felt confused.
Acacia: what happened?
Acacia started to remember what happened.
Acacia: (gasp) I remember! me and my family got shipwrecked! My two cats are here. But where are the others I know?
She got out of bed and looked closer through the window. When she looked out the window, she sees someone that is not human. What she sees is an elephant, standing on two feet, wearing clothes, and it seems like he's doing the bush trimming.
Acacia's eyes winded in surprised and took three steps back.
Acacia: am I dead? Am I in the afterlife in the world of elephants with clothes?!
Acacia started to panic, and quickly rushed to the door. When she went through the door, she bumped into someone who is carrying a tray of breakfast. They both fell when they bumped into each other and the tray of food fell into the ground, and made a big mess on the floor, and themselves.
Royal Advisor Elephant: My Tusk!
Acacia got shocked, got up quickly.
Acacia: even elephants can talk! i must really be dead!
Acacia ran off to the hallway. She can hear him calling out to her, but she didn't want to hear it. When she kept running, she sees more elephants. but one of them dressed as royal guards.
Royal Advisor Elephant: GUARDS! DON'T LET HER GET AWAY!
The guards tried to catch her but completely missed. As she kept running, she felt someone grabbing her waist and picked her up to stop her.
Babar: whoa, woah there! wait a minute miss!
Acacia: please! I know that I'm dead! But if you're some kind of elephant Satan, please don't punish me! I haven't done anything wrong!
everyone went confused in silent.
Babar: what? I am not going to punish you. And I am not a Satan.
Acacia looked at Babar with a confused look.
Acacia: you're not?
Babar: of course not. And besides, you're not dead.
He puts Acacia down.
Babar: my family and I found you and your two cats stranded on the beach. So, we decided to take you to my home. And I see that your fever is down.
Acacia: I had a fever?
Babar: yes, but it's a good thing we found you in time. if we hadn't found you, your fever would get worse. who knows what will happened to you if we haven't found you.
Acacia looked down in silence, and Babar began to worry.
Babar: what's wrong?
Acacia: so, you don't know where my family is on the beach?
Babar: no, I'm afraid not. But when you wash yourself, and eat your breakfast, you can tell me all about you and what happened.
Acacia smiled.
Babar: I haven't introduced myself yet. My name is Babar, King of the Elephants. And that one who looks messy like yours, is Cornelius.
Acacia turns to Cornelius.
Acacia: I'm very sorry, Cornelius.
Cornelius: it's alright my dear. Besides, I wasn't sure if you'd be awake already.
Acacia turns to Babar and bows.
Acacia: My name is, Acacia. And it's nice to meet you, your highness.
Babar laughed.
Babar: It's very nice to meet you too, Acacia. But just call me Babar.
Everyone, even Acacia smiled. But she is still worried about her family.
