I opened my eyes slightly to see the empty space around me. Where did he go? I let out a sigh and lifted myself out of the tangled sheets.

Disappointment and sadness filled my heart. I had thought that he might be different, but it turned out I was just another one-night stand to him.

The door to the room opened, the sunlight from outside breaking through the darkness.

He's still here.

"Took you long enough sweetheart." He stood in the door frame, smiling down at me. As I lifted my head to meet his gaze, I couldn't help but notice the plate of pasta in his hands. My mouth watered as the delicious smell of cooked noodles and fresh sauce filled my nostrils.

I smiled at him and shrugged. "I guess I was tired."

He walked towards me and planted a kiss on my forehead.

"Eat up my sweetheart. You deserve every delicious bite," he added, smiling down at me with a tender affection. "I want to make sure you have the energy for more... fun... tonight."He whispered, stroking his fingers through my hair.

I felt my face flush as he placed the plate of pasta in front of me. As I stared down at the plate, I couldn't help but notice the intense smile on his face.

"Yes, I am a bit hungry," I replied. "Thank you for this." I breathed, taking a bite of the pasta. The warmth of the sauce and sweetness of the noodles filled my mouth and satisfied my hunger, my heart beating faster with each passing second.

"Did you make this yourself?"

"Yes, I wanted to make something special for you," he replied, his voice filled with warmth and affection.

I took another bite of the pasta, savoring the delicious sauce. I couldn't describe how much I was enjoying this meal.

As I looked at him, my heart fluttered with adoration, the taste of the food bringing me right back to the moment. The memory of his touch, the taste of his lips, and the scent of his skin still lingered on my body. The night we has shared was still vivid in my mind, and I could still feel his love and passion for me.

I couldn't stop myself from smiling as I took another bite of the delicious pasta. Each mouthful brought back sweet and vivid memories of him.

As I finished off the last of the pasta, I sighed with pleasure.

"Thank you for this delicious dinner," I breathed, my heart fluttering with happiness.

As I wiped the pasta sauce off my mouth with a napkin, my hands brushing over my lips, he couldn't help but watch me intently.

"I'm glad you're enjoying it," he replied, his tone filled with warmth.

"Well, wasn't there's something you wanted to talk about last night?" I asked curiously, my tone filled with the anticipation.

"Yeah, I do. But I need you to carefully listen, sweetheart. And remember, none of this is a joke. You can ask everything you have to, after I finish speaking." He said in a serious tone.

"Ok." I replied, nodding slowly. "Go ahead."

"Rave," he spoke, "I know this sounds crazy but you and I are fated together, have been from over hundreds of years. I loved you since eternity, my sweet, even after the cruel time when the world had taken you away from me. You've always been my soulmate, my fate." Tears filled his eyes as he spoke, his voice breaking as he tried to hold back his emotions.

He took a deep breath, continuing his story. "Both of us lived in Viloria, a place where we spent every day together. A kingdom of magical forests, crystal clear lakes, towering castles and magical beings. You loved that place so much. We were madly in love, and soon decided to get married."

"But the night before our wedding, I found you dead near a lake." Tears filled his eyes, his voice cracking as he recalled the pain of that moment. "The lake where the best of our memories were made, became my worst nightmare." His eyes were filled with sadness as tears streamed down his face.

He took a deep breath, composing himself as he continued his story.
"After you were taken from me, I mourned your loss deeply, wishing with all my heart that my breathing would cease. I didn't need it, I only needed my heart as it was beating for you, Rave. It always has. I
mourned your loss deeply. Every day was filled with pain and sorrow. I craved your touch and your presence. Our time together was so short-lived, but our separation was like an eternity. "

"I was given a chance to get you back, Rave. And I'm not letting it to go to waste this time. "
