When Valentina was 19 years old, her older brother, Carlos Sainz Jr., started his first year at McLaren. Quickly, he became really close friends with his new teammate, Lando Norris. Valentina could see the friendship grow into something more, a brotherhood. However, she did not share the same feelings towards the British boy. She found him obnoxious and irritating, and she chose to ignore him, even if he spent a lot of time with her brother.
Now, Valentina is 24 and she gets an opportunity to work as a race engineer, a job she always wanted ever since her father brought her and her brother to the Formula 1 world. Except, it might not go as she planned when she ends up Lando Norris's race engineer.
