Chapter 3

Katsumi's POV:

As Deku was talking to me, it made me realise how much time had passed by. The old hag and my old man were dead. Allmight had decided to retire along with Endeavor because they decided that they should focus their energy on training the youth (a pretty crap reason if you ask me) but what shocked me the most was that I was meant to be in the second term of my first year in high school. I don't know if I'll be able to attend high school let alone middle school. Glint may have increased my IQ to 250 but I have no idea about the social customs of Japan. While Deku was mumbling about life at UA someone caught my eye. I don't remember what Deku said after that point but I didn't care. This person was the only thing that I was interested in, but at that point, I hadn't realised it yet.

Todoroki's POV:

When I came out of the truck, I was shocked. I had expected that we would need to put up a fight to rescue the person in question but instead, they were waiting outside. My mind wondered what this kind of person would look like, how they would act, how they would talk but my thoughts were cut short when Izuku called out to them. Turns out they were the childhood friend that went missing eleven years ago. After that first look, I couldn't help but stare. Then she came up to me and I looked away before she could see my face which was now red.

"Who's this Deku?" - she asked.

Even her voice sounds amazing. I get why Izuku couldn't get her out of his head.

"My name is Shoto Todoroki but my friends either call me Shoto or Todoroki" - I swiftly answered.

"That's too long, I'm gonna call you Sho" - she said while having this weirdly cute smile on her face."

"You can call me Kat or Sumi so we're even" - my heart fluttered as she said that.

"Whatever... KitKat" - I turned away as I said that. If I looked at her then she would have seen that my face was completely red.

She smiled at me before she ran away to chase Izuku. I wish she was chasing me and not him.

Did I just say that? Do I like her? No way. Mina said when you like someone they are all you think about and you can imagine a future with them. You also struggle to hold eye contact and overthink every detail with them. Sometimes you use code names for them. While some of that may be true others don't apply so there is no way I like her, and even if I did she would never date me.

Katsumi's POV:

Sho seems like a nice guy, a really quiet but nice guy. I wonder if we could become friends. I can't tell if he likes me or not. He didn't ignore me but he always looked away. I wonder why. Well, only time can tell. Shoto Todoroki is, a nice name, he's got a cute face but he isn't very open.
