The Shadow (Chishiya x Reader)

I tried thinking so hard about who could be the most less suspicious person in the room. I also observed Chishiya to see if he is sussing anyone, but he was staring at the ground. I left out a sigh, looking at Elaine's body and wondered how many enemies do I have in this game.

Even if we did figure out who the imposter was, so many players had died already. I guess what's important to me right now is to survive the game and hopefully give birth to a healthy baby. 

"What about him?" Sushi pointed at Chishiya and I stood in front of him.

"He's with me, I've been with him for a long time and he is the father of my child." I replied while glancing at Chishiya.

His eyes widened and his mouth went agape as he processed what I just said. Thanks to Elaine, I remembered everything when I past out and when I told Chishiya that I remember everything, I meant what I said.

"What about J-Jack? His name is Jack so h-he could be the g-game master..." Derek, the one who rescued me earlier trailed off and everyone looked at the teenage boy.

"I-it's not me, I swear!" The kid defended himself.

"Everybody can I have your attention for a moment." I interrupted.

"Now we should all just skip and think about the incidents. Tell me the most suspicious thing you've encountered, if you're with someone this whole game, you should be able to clear one another. If you came here with a friend and you've played other games with them, you should trust them. We are facing the face cards where we need to defeat its members so it wouldn't make sense if the game master joined someone else's kingdom." I explained and they all seemed to get it.

"And before the timer goes out, everyone should raise their hands so the imposter can't sabotage and we can press the emergency button immediately. This way, we'll be able to distinguish who the imposter is if they try to sabotage." 

Everyone followed my instructions, we all put our hands up and waited for the emergency button cooldown to reset. Although when I thought everything was perfect, an announcement was made.

THE IMPOSTER HAD ACTIVATED THE ULTIMATE WEAPON

REPORT BUTTON WILL NOW BE DISABLED 

KILL COOLDOWN IS REDUCED TO 5 SECONDS

 EMERGENCY COOLDOWN HAS NOW BEEN SET TO 10 MINUTES

I widened my eyes with the new rules as I knew that this was a big advantage for the imposter. Everyone else started to panic as they looked around to see who the killer among us could be. 

"We should all stick together!" Wish shouted, trying to calm everyone down and started fiddling with their bodies.

"Keep your hands up! Whoever puts it down could be the imposter!" I instructed.

All of the sudden, Kato, the hooded guy charged towards Allysa and strangled her. 

"No!" Jack tackled Kato and soon lost his life as Kato smashed his head on the wall.

"He's the imposter!" Kajusinq screamed as she fell on the ground and tried to scuttle away. 

I breathed heavily as I watched what was happening in front of me. Imposter have full advantage of the situation as we aren't even allowed to report the bodies. On top of that, ten minutes is a long time to wait. 

"Everybody run! After 10 minutes, one of us should try and press the emergency button!" I exclaimed.

Before I can even run, Chishiya already grabbed my hand, leading me out of danger. I looked back and saw Derek being pushed to the ground as he was caught in stampede but Shizuku managed to get him up and they ran away.

We ended up in the Admin and Chishiya hid me under the table. His eyes filled with worried as he held my stomach and my cheek.

"Why did it take so long for you to remember me?" He questioned and I left out a chuckle.

"That's what you're worried right now?" I answered and he embraced me.

"Do you know how much I've waited for you to remember me? Every seconds felt like days. The thought of wanting you to know who I am whenever I see you is unbearable." 

"You know Cheese, you sounds so cringe right now." I managed to say as I hiccup through my tears.

"I don't care, what matters to me the most is you only."

"What about our baby?"

"That too, but mostly you."

"I love you too."

 Chishiya pulled me into a kiss, forgetting that we were in a game. I missed this moment with him where I feel like it's only us in the world. How could I had been so stupid to forget about him? 

After what felt like one hour, the timer for the emergency cooldown finally finished. Me and Chishiya made our way to the cafeteria, only to find Kato there with three dead bodies on the floor. 

At the same time, Shizuku arrived with Derek from the medbay area, Kajusinq came from the weapon side, Entanglement and Kopii soon appeared behind us. There's only 8 of us left and they were clearly mortified to see Kato still alive, somehow guarding the emergency button. 

Is he really the imposter?

To make the situation worst, the lights went off. I felt Chishiya tugging me away so I followed him while trying to balance myself from the dead bodies I was stepping on. I heard screaming, pounding, something breaking and a taser. 

The lights was immediately fixed and I saw Kato in front of us shaking and a taser on Chishiya's hand. I forgot that he can make a weapon out of random stuff. Shizuku quickly ran towards the button and pressed it while dropping on the floor and crying. 

EMERGENCY MEETING HAD BEEN ACTIVATED, EVERYONE MEET AT THE CAFETERIA

"I can't take it anymore! Vote him out!" Shizuku shouted while pointing at the now paralyzed Kato.

Entanglement, who ran away to fix the lights came back panting.

"Is it finally over?" She asked.

"It will be once we vote him." Kopii replied while collapsing on his knees.

Everyone was exhausted, they just want the game to end and they all seemed fixated on voting Kato out.

"Let's finally end this and vote Kato!" Shizuku said but before anyone could vote, Chishiya spoke up.

"Wait! He's not the imposter." Chishiya stated.
