you were glistening at the flowers, as you held up
your parasol in the showering sun. a few days ago, it reached
spring. your favourite season of all time.

i bent down, to stare at the flowers. i noticed that more
flowers have been growing. this particular flower
started to catch my eye, as i glanced over to the
flower that was bugging me. i noticed that it was a
green hellebore. you studied these kinds of stuff, so you could
feed your own boredom.

zoro had been gone to work for quite a few hours, and he would arrive
home around this time, but no sight of him was here. i noticed that it
was becoming very windy, as my parasol almost fell out of my
grip. i gripped my parasol harder, not letting it get out of my hand.

FLASHBACK

"zoro, what's this?" i asked him, in confusion. we were
back in high school, when we first starting dating. i was
holding a big bag. we were outside, at the back of the school.
zoro suggested that he wanted to wag, becuase he had to give
me this gift.

"ehh, it's not much." he hid his face, trying to act all tough.
he looked away, closing his eyes. but he peeked one eye out
to see my reaction to the big bag.

i opened the gift, to see a light green and white
parasol, that was detailed all over. "zoro!" i exclaimed.
it was so cute! a giant smile crept up my lips, as i
got overjoyed, jumping and bouncing around the place.

"show the gratitude later." he scoffed, as he was hiding his cheeks.
"thank you, zoro!" i smiled at him, as i gave him a kiss on the
cheek. his heart melted. he always felt like that when i smiled.

he always knew that i always like
these elegant stuff, but he didn't care. he still got
me what i wanted, even if i didn't ask for it. i could
be bawling at it, and he would buy me it.

"hey, uhm.." zoro asked. "hmm?" i questioned back. "is it.. okay, if
you wear the parasol?" he looked away, in the complete opposite
direction as me. "look at me!" i opened the parasol and put it over
my head.

he took a slight peak, and couldn't help but smile. "zoro! you're
smiling!" i laughed. he hid his smile, hoping nobody would see him.
just then, he kissed me on the forehead, and said, "if you
ever break the parasol, i will always buy another one for you."

he buried his head in my shoulder, hiding his burning face.
just then, the bell rang. next class. he pulled away, as i gave him a peck
on the lips, before running off to my friends, still holding
onto the parasol opened.

"miss [lastname]! no unbrellas or parasols in class!" my teacher yelled.
zoro was in the same class as me, and observed the situation. i was
holding the parasol next to my hand, closed, so it wouldn't break out of my hand.

"did you not hear me, miss [lastname]?!" the teacher yelled again,
"put the umbrella away!" everyone stared over at me, as my
bangs covered my face.

"no." i muttered, nonchantly. everyone's eyes widened, only zoros
didn't. he chuckled. "is something funny, roronoa zoro?" the teacher
screeched over to zoro. "no, not at all." he mutters.

i dropped the umbrella to the ground, as the teacher began to teach again.
when she was teaching, and having her back to me, i always held
that same umbrella. nothing will stop me.

"why didn't you just drop the parasol down?" zoro asks, as he
sits down with his friends, combined with mine. "i can't." i nonchalantly
say, digging into my food.

"say, [name], can i have some of your food?" luffy suddenly bumps
in. i give him a bit of my sandwich, and his eyes glistens as he eats
the sandwich in one go.

"you need to seriously stop giving him food, it's making me
go berserk." zoro says, putting his arm around my shoulder.
"if he's hungry, i will give him it. nothing can stop
hunger though." i respond back.

"let's just eat." i mutter to him, as he listened and started
to dig into his caferteria food.

everyday, i always brang my parasol, wherever,
i went. i didn't care i got into trouble. so what?
it was a first gift that my boyfriend gave me.

END OF FLASHBACK

i blinked rapidly, as i smiled softly to the grass. "those
were the best days, in high school, huh?" i laughed.

before going inside, i looked at the flower beds and i picked
the hellebore. "this reminds me of zoro." i whispered
softly.

i went inside the mini house that both me and zoro had
saved up together, as we moved in. i got a vase that
i bought, and filled it up with water. after filling up
the vase with water, i put the hellebore inside the
vase carefully.

i went outside to pluck more, and went back inside.
as i continued to add more hellebores to my
collection, i heard the door screech open.

i looked back, to see zoro come back from his work.
"zoro!" i smiled as i filled him with my warm hug. "hey."
he whispers in my ear, accepting the hug. "you're all sweaty."
i stuck my tongue out in disgust. "i'll take a shower, don't
worry."
