"woke up this morning, with a smile on my face." i sang with Jill Scott as i sway my hips and fill the girl's body i drew up with paint.

filling the canvas up with different browns and greens i smile because it's coming out so good.

i put my paint and paint brush down ready to let the canvas dry. i pull my faux locs up and let out a deep breathe.

i'm hungry. kind of craving a yogurt bowl.

my phone dings and i see a message from my best friends anna and diamond.

anna pooh: we're still on for our picnic date?

diamonds in the sky: yes ma'am packing my picnic bag rn!!!

anna pooh: i'm glad bc u SUCK at time management

I smile and like the message because diamond really does suck at time management.

diamond in the sky: ouu not too much hoe! u was late to the last picnic bc u was deep throating dick tho???

i burst out laughing and send laughing emojis. diamond is so unserious.

anna pooh: AND WAS. what meg say??? u know her head weak if she ain't fucking up her makeup!!!!

anna pooh: and i love u and aaliyah stop reacting to our messages and respond fuck nigga!!

my bad y'all just too funny. but im still going. im abt to shower and get ready right now

they like my message and i cut my phone off. i walk in my cozy room and get some cute, but comfy clothes to wear to the picnic.

my room was medium sized. i had a queen sized bed that was so comfortable. it was filled with pillows and plushies that i've bought over the years. it had my big green and yellow comforter on it.

on the side of my bed was a mini desk where my mushroom lamp sat as well as a few of my favorite books and current reads.

on my walls were fake leaves, posters and few of my drawings.

i had a huge mirror on the wall next to my tv. i decorated my mirror and put flowers around the edges. i just think it's so cute.

and on my window seal were my plants and candles.

i go to my closet and i pull out a long black maxi skirt and a olive green tank top. i go to my closet and take my brown cardigan off the hanger.

i tap my chin trying to decide what shoes i should wear. black, brown or green buckle shoes?

all them would fit but my brown ones are the comfiest, so i chose the brown.

after getting my clothes out, i go to the bathroom to take a shower while i let my "what love feels like." playlist play.

"AALIYAH ROBINS." i hear outside my door as i finish moisturizing.

"yes bookie butt." i say just to annoy anna as she opens my room door.

"i'm so glad you're ready because im about to fight your friend." she rolled her eyes as diamond comes in smiling big.
