School

Today was just another day at boring old school. Walking in to my closet I pick out a pair of jeans and casual shirt to go with it. Finally when I'm done I text my friend Kaydee
hey I'm ready where are you? we are gonna be late for school?

I'm almost there. sorry! woke up late. Hey did you hear about the new student? Samantha texted me saying she him/her walking from the neighborhood you live in.

No never saw the person yet. Hope she/he will be cool. but HURRY UP! stop texting and driving!

She didn't reply. In 5 mins she finally arrived and we were on our way to school. Running to first period before the bell rang I accidentally bumped into someone having a quick glance back I said "sorry" but kept running. Once my foot reached pass the door the bell rang. everyone was already seated and all their attention was put on me. my first period was English and I barely talked to anyone here. I put my head down so my hair would block my face. quickly taking my seat I saw someone walk through the door. From her hairstyle I could tell this was the person I ran into. Our teacher Mr. Murphy introduced her, "class we have a new student. Her name is Ruby Rose. Please make her feel comfortable and if she needs help with anything... umm well help her." Ruby waved to the class. Mr.Murphy told her to take an empty seat. which was in the back by me. she took her seat and looked at me with a smirk. "You're the girl who bumped me in the hallway." Looking down embarrassed I said "I'm sorry I didn't mean to. I would have stopped but the bell was about to ring and I hate when I'm late to class." Ruby saw how uncomfortable I was and put her hand on my arm "Love it's ok I was just joking. It's not a big deal." she said snickering. I look up at her and give a smile. she winks at me and says "such a beautiful smile. Smile more often for me ok?" Ruby smiles at me once more and turn around to the front to copy notes Mr. Murphy had wrote on the board. I looked the other direction because my cheeks were red from blushing. why am I blushing? She's a girl. I like boys right?
