Chapter 3

CHAPTER 3:

Many things rushed through my mind at this point. i was being kidnapped by a angel. How does that work? I was leaving my only family against my own will by this stranger. we were also being hunted down by this person whom i had no idea existed. I was brought out of my my thoughts by the shout of Keaton. He was telling me to run. I ran but banged into a solid surface of man. i looked up and saw this intimidating mass of muscle. his hand caught my wrist, and was quite painful. I was shoved into the brick wall of an abandoned building. I didnt know what to do at this point. I knew i just had to stay still and try not to upset this mysterious man. out of no where the guys hand smacks my face with such    a force i land flat on my ass. i could already feel the constant burning/stinging sensation in face. i decided to stay there and wipe away my now flowing tears. 

***KEATONS POV***

I saw her getting shoved aside a wall, and though i barely knew her, i all i wanted to do was protect her from the boss. He wanted her for some unknown reason, i needed to find out somehow... i saw his hand collide with her sweet and innocent face. the rage bolied up inside of me. if the guys who was holding my hands wasnt there, i would have killed him. i broke free from his iorn grip and lunged at my once best friend Drew. i was one step away from his worthless self when:

"No, no, no... If you take one more step I will finish her." i didnt know how to respod to that. He used to be my bestfriend until we got involved with the boss. The boss tore us apart and i hated him every day because of that. Out of the corner of my eye, i saw him. The boss was here.

***RAES POV***

Keaton broke free of someone who was holding him back. He ran towards me and all i wanted to do was run into his arms. He just kidnapped me but he looked safer than the other two. Before he could take that final step towards me i heard:

"No, no, no... If you take one more step I will finish her." i was scared to death. Then i saw him. It all clicked. i froze right on the spot. couldnt even move a single muscle. i thought i was going to faint. Or throwup. i couldnt hear right but i heard muffled noises, i turn to see keatons lips that read RUN. so i did. i felt someone grab my wrist, i screamed and stuggled until i turned to hear the familiar voice:

"Babe, calm down its only me. We have to outrun the boss. We can do this." So we ran. and ran. and ran. Once he thought we were clear we stopped. We both slumped over in utter exhaustion. After what felt like hours of trying to get my lungs to work properly, he said

"we have to find a place to stay. Idont have much money but i think we can get a cheap hotel."

"where am i supposed to go. I have a family."

"this is only temporary, After we find a place to stay, i can call my brother Wes. We can stay with him for awhile." before i could respond, like a switch it started to pour. great. "lets get going." he said inbetween chuckles.

after trudging through the rain i saw through the fog mixed with rain a hotel sigh that looked like it had missing letters due to the lack of ligghts in them. 

"FINALLY!" i scream and draged him into the lobby. there was a middle aged man sitting at the desk.

"Looking for a room?" he says without looking up from his phone. ithought to myself no shit sherlock. 

"yes please" keaton responded politely.

"room 207." he grabbed a random key and tossed it. he also added "Dont make too much noise, people are actually sleeping here." We waited until we rounded the corner and i burst out laughing, which caused him to laugh uncontrollably also.

"well maybe we cou-" i stopped him right then and there 

"dont you even think about it"

***THE BOSSES POV***

i saw them both dart into the Hotel. they thought they could run away from me. im not a dumbass. young and stupid. i thought to myself. I will get you Raelynn Joehansin. You cant run from me forever
