It's 9.30 pm and there were sitting on their bed, both going through their evening routine, Sam taking off his watch and Cassie applied cream on her arms.

"You've been very quiet lately, is everything ok?" Sam asked his wife with concern, although he tried his best not to sound too worried.

"Yes, everything is fine, i'm just a little bit tired these days. I haven't been sleeping that well." she answered him.

That's exactly what Sam thought she would say to him. But he could feel it, something's off.

Normally Cassie is the one who felt things, but he can't shake the feeling, she's telling him not the hole truth or she doesn't even know herself, which made him more worried.

"Well, i hope you sleep better tonight, can i bring you something?" he looked at her, already smiling, because he knew her answer. Cassie and Sam said at the same time, "Tea."

"And that's why i love you so much." She said, while reaching for his hand to be close to her husband and gave him a kiss, that let him know, how much she appreciate him.

Sam went downstairs to get the tea and Cassie sat on her side of the bed, thinking and talking to herself.

"I really hope i can sleep good, what is going on? Maybe this tea will help." by the thought of that, she smiled.

Sam came back with her chamomile tea, handing it to her with the words, "be careful, it's a little hot"

That night, he had a very bad dream and by that, i mean very very bad nightmare.

He jumped up, his shirt almost dripping in sweat. It took him a few seconds to realize where he is and what happened. He swiped, what he thought was sweat, from his eyes until he understood that there were tears. "What is happening?"

He looked over to his sleeping wife and climbed out of the bed, trying not to wake her.

He failed.

"Sam? What's going on? Are you ok?" sleep and concern in her voice.

"I'm sorry i woke you, go back to sleep." he reassured her.

"Your shirt is soaked. Did you had a nightmare?"

He knew better than to think she wouldn't ask and just go back to sleep.

"Yes i had, but it's ok now." he tried to sooth her.

"Tell me about it." Cassie said while she propped herself up, to sit on the bed.

"Let me just grab a new shirt and i will be right beside you."

He did as he said and got back in bed, his arm around her and her head on his strong shoulder.

"I don't really remember the dream actually, i only remember the feeling it was giving me, pure sadness. I guess that's why i had tears running down my cheeks as i woke up."

"You cried? Oh honey." Cassie cupped his face and kissed him.

Sam didn't tell her everything, he remembered every detail from his dream, he just wasn't ready to talk about it, even with his wife. He hoped it was just a nightmare and nothing else, but he must soon realize, that his dream would come true, unfortunately.

There stayed like this and fell asleep after a while.

Next morning, Sam was relieved that Cassie didn't, like had a feeling about his little lie, but that again, also worried him. Why isn't she feeling things lately. What is happening with his wife.

"Honey, did you sleep better?" he asked as he made tea and coffee for the two of them.

"Well, not really better but ok. Thank you." he handed her the mug and took a sip of his own.
