You were having a splendid day...Walking around the base with pride, And the day swells with each passing minute...until you got notified on your Walkie-Talkie from your one and only captain price...you picked up your Walkie-Talkie talkie and responded...
" Y/n, Y/n...Go again? " you asked your voice full of authority...
" captain price stand by...Due to your skills in stealth and agility you will be attending a mission of such...I need you in my office this afternoon at 1900 for a quick briefing and who you'll be partnering with, do you copy? " captain price replied...his voice no question but command
" Affirmative... " you responded...as you put your Walkie-Talkie back in your holster you rolled your eyes in annoyance...your day was already going so great...why a mission? At this moment in time...
Later that afternoon you made your way to his office quarters and when you got there you knocked at his door hiding your annoyance acting more professional...
Price opened the door to his office shortly after revealing Ghost sitting in one of the office chairs...you were slightly taken aback by Ghosts sudden presence...you glanced back at price before sitting down on the opposite chair...
" why is lieutenant Ghost here?... " you ask slightly confused but frustrated by his presence...
Ghost glanced at you for a moment and rolled his eyes before looking the other way...
" He'll be your partner for this mission...no questions no comments...the mission will start at 1200 tomorrow, understood... " price demanded...
" understood sir " you and Ghost responded in sync...as you did so you both cocked your heads toward each other and rolled your eyes at one another...
Price noticed this and said..." And don't you two get into any pity kid arguments while on this mission...this is a high classified mission...I don't need anyone KIA just because of some pity bullshit... " price commanded once again...
You both glanced over at each other once more before sighing knowing you had no choice...you both nodded intently short after and price sent you both back to your barracks to get some well needed rest...As you both headed to your barracks you both thought of all the possibilities that could accrue during the mission...many negative possibilities filled both your minds but mild positive possibilities...the positives were amusing as you two thought about it more the hatred began to ease it's almost like you both want to hate each other but it's not entirely possible, considering you both also want to get along...
You opened the door to your barracks and laid down on your bed...as soon as you laid down you fell into deep but light dreamy slumber as the hours flew by you woke up at 0500 to the sound of your alarm clock...'you thought to yourself 'didn't I just fall asleep' but it was indeed 0500 when you checked your alarm...you stopped your alarm and showered then putting on your military uniform...after said and done you did your hair and made yourself breakfast...after you did so you ate it and put your boots on heading out your barracks quarters...
At exactly 1200 you found yourself in a transportation car with Ghost...he had his arm resting on the car window seal and his chin resting on his hand every now and then taking short but noticeable glances at you...
You however had both hands resting on your lap and your legs crossed over one another looking out the front window, your side preview noticing his short glances...the car was so silent you could hear the wind hitching your surroundings, you broke the silence wanting to tease a bit...
" your not very discreet about your glimpses... " you smirked a bit...
" what my eyes can explore my surroundings?...after all you are the main attraction... " he teased back...
But there it was...those smart remarks...
For the rest of the car ride you both engaged in good conversation...super surprising considering you both were just rivals a few minutes ago...but here you are engaging in conversation until the vehicle took an abrupt stop...
" Mission location coordinates 39.7559° N, 104.9942° W in southern Europe approaching the target, over..." you said over Walkie-Talkie to price...while Ghost admired your professionalism and intelligence...
